If you have a crucifix. Place 3 candles at the ghost room and a crucifix. If the crucifix gets used immediately after extinguishing the third flame it's a Onryo. (Make sure you are above 60% sanity).

Another test is too hide and get hunted several times. If speed never changes it's a Onryo.

Lastly, you can check for UV, but that's lame.
