5. SUMMONING CIRCLE

You can use the summoning circle to summon the ghost.

Uses:

• Sanity Drain
• Triggering a ghost event
• Starting a hunt
• Photo of ghost
• Photo for money

Cost:

• Each candle lit will drain 16% sanity from all nearby players.

Fun Facts:

• After lighting all 5 candles the ghost will spawn inside the summoning circle.
• If you do not have enough sanity to light the last candle it will skip the ghost event phase and go straight into a hunt.
• If you do not have enough sanity to light any of the first 4 candles they will go out and you will be unable to light them.
• If you light the summoning circle while the ghost is already hunting, it will teleport the ghost directly to the circle in its current state.

The things to always check if a ghost is finding you.

Check mic to make sure you are muted if you choose to mute. The ghosts can hear you (Yokai be more deaf than the others).

Any electronics? Including a headgear turned on. Not everyone remembers they have it on. It has happened to me before.

Is anyone cheating? There have been people who didn’t realize they were playing with cheaters.

After you feel you’ve taken this and more into account then you can make the report and if really is a bug (I can’t say) then it can be looked into.

One more thing to check it to make sure if you’re hiding in a spot with doors (closet or locked) to hold it closed as the ghost can open them.

Me, dad, and little brother were playing prison for the first time

It was hunting us a lot and on the final hunt before we left I realized it was getting faster every hunt as our sanity kept draining

Little brother got snagged by the ghost so dad and I book it out of the prison

When i smudge the ghost, does it have to be direct contact or just close enough?

and when smudged does the timer start automatically or after a hunt is over?

timer starts as soon as you smudge any smudginging after wont restart the timer. you have to be close but there is a radius in which it will work best to be as close as pos though maybe throw the smudge right at it

no all ghosts can close doors but the yurie will double touch the door and slam it a yurie is the only ghost that can interact with the front door though
