You can use custom difficulties to increase the chances of a ghost using its ability by lowering its chances to do other things, but it all depends on when you get a Demon and whether it decides to use its ability, took me like 2-3 hours to get the achievement

Technically, you can get a win against revenants too, since as long as they don't hunt on top of you, they can't chase you down into your room from afar, so ducking into any room is safe

Onryos treat candles/lanterns like a T2 crucifix, and will prioritize blowing out the candle over using the cruci. They will always try to hunt after three blowouts

Yes. So if you are in natural hunting range of an Onryo, keeping the room lit with candles effectively pacifies it (though it can always spam blowouts in an attempt to hunt).

if you only have a few people population wise might want to check to see if cross play is on and the internet issues like server time out or something. I literally just didn't play and it was fixed the next morning but you can try #common-tech-fixes to see if that helps 🙂
