Have you done with Woodwind xp farms (like 10x xp and up)? I’d recommend having practice identifying ghosts and looping ghosts before attempting apocalypse. Its what helped me accomplish it.

Yeah I used the room to setup in, far from its spawn. It never ran that far down the hall before. Then after it saw me close to that room in the hallway, it beelined straight into the room. Once it was a Yurei the other time it was twins

so im not sure if it was a cheater since again we were all on ps5 and no one knows how to do anything of that sort but i cant think of many other explanations for what happened other than it being buggy on ps5 platform

they open every door they come across, that includes closet doors, just hold one of the doors closed and hide on that side of the closet so the ghost doesn't see you

you can place it in the area where the ghost is (most activity, cold room)
and over time the ghost may choose to write in it or yeet it across the room

i find this more noticable than the actual writing at tier 1

it will give you quests if you have UNLOCKED the necessary item even if you didn't BRING the item

so i recommend brining one of every item you unlock if you can

Especially at the start of the game, you wanna just I’d the ghost. I wouldn’t try the optional unless it’s something like gen sanity as sometimes it tends to drop anyway and no sanity pills

For those with VR, does anyone know how to simply swap the tool I’m holding with the tool in my belt? Whenever I try to swap tools it simply drops the tool I was holding to the floor and places the tool on my belt in my hand. It was super annoying tbh.
