Under the old system, we had to work for the trophy, and we could claim it within the first 24 hours. Both length and challenge was a better option. No-one can claim the current community event is more challenging (we can plainly see it would always be won at this point), nor has a wider window of ability to claim rewards.

Those arguments lie solely with those wishing to bring back the old challenge format. Not even to toss the community one, but to make trophies individually earned. Community earned stuff could be separate.

I predict the total points earned from passive ghost identification and objectives will have made up the sum total for all 3 phases by the time the 31st lands. All boxes, worthless.

If a hunt is too horrid for people to cope, if they can't cope with the off chance an amateur ghost may hunt them at some point, I'd argue those players don't really know what game we're playing. This isn't house flipper, despite the identical engine. This is phasmophobia. The ghosts can bite.

As long as we're making recommendations, I'd recommend listening to The Parapod. It is a bit more skeptic-heavy, but it's run by 2 comedians. One believes in ghosts, the other doesn't. The running goal, for the believer to convince the non-believer. It's comedy gold. They even go sleep in Pontefract for the night.

If I’m not mistaken, I think it caps at nightmare mode. You cannot get more points using custom difficulties, but playing hard difficulties like nightmare does reward the most points

No, you cannot trap the ghost inside of any objects
You can trap it in its room by wishing the ghost was trapped with the Monkey Paw, but that's about it and the ghost will hunt one minute afterwards
(and you will be trapped in the room you're in too, unless the room doesn't have any doors)

You get away by breaking line of sight twice (crouch-sprinting around two corners). The ghost will check the corner it last saw you at and won't be able to see you around the second, so it will probably wander away while you run to a hiding spot. When you're first looking for the ghost, make sure to comb for hiding spots

I started playing recently, so I'm trying to get some idea of how hard each difficulty is? For example, singleplayer Tanglewood on Amateur I imagine is 100% winnable with enough experience no matter what ghost RNG you get . professional to nightmare is the biggest difficulty jump, going from being able to generally avoid a hunt to almost always requiring one to find out the ghost. since you only get 2 evidence, you need to know their other traits

It's the only map (that I know of) that has a chapel.. with all the Cursed objects found at the exact some spot.. the Summoning Circle with a spot for each of the other cursed objects..

But patient 07 started in asylum. Transfered to sunny meadows. Was locked for years in both places. She died in sunny meadows.
Our company sells the cursed items possibly the bones, as toys of course.
We are investigators to identify the ghost after confirmation location has ghost. We identify and a team after us comes in an extracts the ghost. Yes. Extract. Not eliminate.
We are a redistribution company not an extermination one.
Also previous head quarters was a garage and got overrun by ghosts so we moved to new one where patient 07 followed.

For me when I think it’s a Shade I hang out with candles in the room with it. Place motion sensors to know when it’s close.
