You hear a noise? grab emf and UV and look for the ghost. check the temps for an anomously cold room. Once you have that get back to van and lemme know

I need a little bit of help. Okay so I'm doing a 0 evidence run right and the ghost just hunted me at 71%-75% sanity (I've been watching the sanity boars for about 2 minutes to see if it ever hit 70% but it never did). I know it's not an onryo as I've already done the candle test, I know it's not a mimic as it cant change ghost room (i disabled it) and there's no ghost orbs in here, i also don't think it can be a demon because i started on 0 sanity and did a smudge test and it didn't hunt until 95 seconds after the smudge ended and also I don't think demons can hunt until your 70% iirc? Do we know what else it can even be?

Dots arent an on off thing cause of the dots projector. Ghost goes into dots state at random. Being in same room has the ghost roam to player making it easier to predict where to place the projector.

I'm very lucky, b/c Custom came out around the time my buddy and I were starting to get into Nightmare (and found it hard). Ever since I've been a Custom evangelist telling people to use it to ease into 2ev. Doesn't work quite as well now that they get NM much sooner than Custom.

Im saying one of the first things you can do, is grab a candle and start shutting doors. Make a second loop and look for open ones. And it works for me, or i'll find the COLD room thats giving me breath compared to every other room NOT.

With a candle you can help maintain sanity

pop some pills when you return to the truck and make your second loop

I'm not positive, but I think Spirit box tiers might have the same chance of response per tier. That is: 33/50/66% per question. And that assuming lights are off, you are alone (if ghost wants you to be) , and within range. So w/ t1 you really need to try several times even when you know exactly where the ghost is (like after an event, stepping in salt, or hitting a motion)

Yeah, I did P20 in 40 days, mostly solo. Using your strat ofc, but I didn't burn myself out doing it. It's easy to do if you know your ghosts.

Easiest way is to pull them then immediately walk back outside. Unless you get a Moon card or several red WoFs, usually the ghost can't hunt. Also helps to set sanity drain to 0% and pills to 100%.

Yes, you can look on the wiki for maps with cursed item locations. They’re fixed on each map but you’ll only get 1. Unless you’re in a custom mode or insanity.
