Hey guys so I encountered an interesting bug

My mate died and I had used the monkey paw to revive him.

As a result. He became invisible to me, the ghost could keep hunting with no one in the house, on top of that it completely ignored him and we couldn't leave the game unless we went through the menu. 😂😂

Any equipment that is noted as electronic especially in the shop if it is on and in your main hand will attract a ghost if they are close enough this includes headgear.
If the electronics are switched into your inventory it doesn't matter that they're on anymore as long as you don't accidentally scroll towards them during a hunt

Can someone offer advice to the following issue? I usually start my investigation with video camera to look for orbs, emf to check for thrown objects, and uv to check for handprints. I usually can find the room with that. A couple times, I couldn't find the room so I went around with a thermometer (level 1) to look for a temperature drop and my own breath. Yesterday was the first time I couldn't find it at all and was finally killed during a hunt before finding the room. Any suggestions?

Try using hallway lights to keep your sanity higher as you walk around you don't need to stay in the dark.
Sometimes setting up additional stuff like sound sensors motion sensors can help you look from the van also a way to keep your sanity up.
What I like to do is to throw the other equipment that I'm going to use at the door open the door give the ghost a minute or so to throw some stuff and then usually they'll be in or very close to the room that has moved items.

Use it ghost starts singing, if you are within 5m the ghost will walk to it in an event then hunt.
If yer sanity is too low, the box breaks or you drop it will also start a hunt.

The way to "use it" is hope yer far enough away, with enough sanity then activate it, get close till you see ghost quickly place it on the floor and take photo and/or run.

It has two modes with candle/fires. If it is in range the fire source will stop a hunt. If 3 fire sources are blown out by the ghost and nothing is in range to stop it it will then hunt.

We just had a shade, and it mostly stuck to that, but it appeared in the Play Area in CWW while we were both standing in the same room. I know it can interact from other rooms but I didn't know it could appear from another room.

Mylings can hunt at 50 or below sanity, but if you’re talking about events, it can technically do events at any time but ghosts tend to have a higher chance of doing events/interactions the lower sanity you are.
