0 Evidence tells:
Possible early hunter. Fast when not aged. Slow when aged. Ouija board will indicate an aged Thaye.

Hunt Threshold:
75% scaling to a minimum 15% after aging.

Unique/Hidden Abilities/Descriptions:
Thaye ages as time goes on if there is a player nearby. Starting very active and aging to a very slow, inactive ghost. Hunting threshold, activity, speed, and ghost event chance will all decrease the longer you are near the ghost. Starting hunt threshold is 75% dropping all the way down to a minimum of 15%. Thaye lower its speed when it ages. Starting at 2.7m/s and lowering to a minimum of 1m/s
Each age lowers the speed by 0.175m/s. No Line of sight acceleration. When asking "How old are you" on the ouija board, the Thaye will respond differently depending on it's age.
Note: As of Ascension update, Thaye no longer has increased chance for DOTS and Writing.

Today was super confusing for me. Me and my friends were playing a custom and had ghost orbs so ignored those for that moment and then got spirit box. One of my team mates died and on the next hunt it started to shape shift. Obakes don't have spirit box. But it did turn out to be a mimic. My question is can mimics copy any ghost even if they aren't able too in the game being played? 🙂

Obake can't be found evidence wise by spirit box
Can a mimic copy any ghost even if the evidence doesn't show it to be that ghost

Mimic doesn't copy evidence at all, so yes it can copy any ghost

You can check if it shapeshifted again during another hunt, if it didnt then its not obake

If it was a mimic then it's definitely not orbs, but they will show it*. So either player error or there's a bug which at the moment I don't think there are any #known-issues related to what happened to you

Could just be bad luck/rng. Evidence can be hard to confirm especially with tier 1 equipment

You may also just be reading the spirit box lights wrong or misheard

Mimic cant show evidence that isn't their own, even when they're mimicking another ghost. What they do mimic is other ghost's abilities, which is what you saw

Important to note, Mimic is always #EV + Orbs = Mimic.
Makes it easier to determine mimic. Also will change ghost type often enough to check several hunts to see if it ever changes behavior/speed during hunt.

Cell Block A and B are on opposite sides of the map. It wouldn’t wander that far in a 50 second hunt.

Especially if you’re talking top A to top B. Even with electronics on, their range isn’t that far unless it was following someone in line of sight but not really plausible
