Yes. Gallu have 3 states. Starts normal and there are couple of things that can enrage him - salt among others. When enraged, Gallu steps over the salt piles.

This issue usually happens if you have two sets of DOTs in the area. The ghost will start the DOTs in one set and hten go through the second. If you snap the photo as it goes through the other DOTs it does not count. Whenever we want a DOTs photo we make sure they are in different locations so it is clear which one the ghost is appearing in, or turn one of them off if the room is too small to have both of them active.

I get his as well, mostly the stuff in the Tea Room, lamp in the entrance hall by the understairs cupboard leaking into the cupboard though the wall. Outside light, back path, leaking into the fuse box room (where the Summoning Circle spawns). Not sure about the other images you have put up.
I am playing Windows 11, so it is not just a Linux issue. I am assuming the team knows this is a problem that will be looked into, but maybe they don't?
