If you wish for knowledge, it stays that way. If you wish to see the ghost and back out, it will stay that way. It's supposed to end when hunt ends, but since you cheated the hunt, it wont remove the visual/sound penalties.

Probably either a Deogen, Hantu, Moroi, or Raiju, depending on wether or not you're close to any active electronics or if you have Freezing.
Deogens move extremely fast when they're not close enough to a player, Hantus move extremely quickly in any area with Freezing Temps, Morois get faster while you have lower sanity, and Raijus move fast when near electronics.
Revenants and Jinns can also be fast but only when they have a LoS on a player. As for any others, most ghosts don't move that fast, even with any added speed boosts they get

Strange problems started after the last update. In random circumstances, strange things happen - Some textures turn black, textures flicker, objects have alien textures.
This rarely happens.
The problem is present in single player and online play.

If it's in challenge mode, it's normal: the entity is slowed down to 50% of its speed (you can hear it accelerate slightly over time). But incense is a bug at the moment :)

hello there. I have this problem: when the ascension update came out, my friends and I went to do a weekly task. We have already passed it, but it was reset to zero, so we decided to go through it again. After we received $5000, my friends started seeing the inscription [HACKER DETECTED] instead of my level. After re-entering the lobby, she disappeared. But then the ghosts started killing me while I was in hiding, as if they knew where I was. I have attached a video showing the problem. This only works in multiplayer. What should I do about it? Was it right for me to die here? Someone said the screen is seethrough but I don't think it is and my flashlight wasn't flickering and I turned it off and the ghost still beelined it towards me. new way to figure it OBAKE without waiting for shapeshift ( also works well with parabolic ).
i found it from day 1 with new patch.
While in hunt you can hear footsteps and if the footsteps become abrupt silent thats OBAKE. dunno if its bug but this happen only to this ghost
