did a quick tall (1x3) door implementation without any models or textures
gonna make a 2x3 and sliding 1x2 door implementation tomorrow
Also those castle gates that rise up and down but I’m not quite sure how I want to approach it yet
Probably a storage block that just stores if it has a gate in it or not and when it’s powered it checks for the highest block in the stack that has a gate in it and places one at the bottom of the stack
Stops when it runs out of gates or it hits a block at the bottom preventing more from coming out
Would be incremental raising/lowering one block every half second or something and you’d have to power all storage stacks at once to open a full gate
somehow works pretty much perfectly other than the weird placement
i finally made them
Nice
has placeholder textures btw..
Ye i suspected that
if ur wondering..
Not like vanilla hinges make much sense either
Dramatic Doors 🤤
Yum
This will be so awesome with thermia xD
this is the greatest tool ever
i can automate my already streamlined texture creation
this mod will be updated this year 🥹
So why this program over say just a python script?
Fair
i think this program wouldnt have any issues with anything ill need it for
what on earth is this program yourw using /pos
its called pixel composer its on steam
Guys I need more ideas for woodstuffs..
Actually wait I could make furniture as a submod or something
I’ll make furniture tomorrow idk the best way to make it optional though..
Don't do a bibliocraft and use complex models inflating loading times. >.>
I don’t like how bibliocraft looks anyways
Plus the most load time /ram use increasing blocks are wall blocks since each has something like 400 blockstates total
That’s around 10 stairs worth of blockstates per wall
And this tool is...?
its called pixel composer
That is pretty darn cool!
oh my god, it looks just like blender's shader nodes! I could use this!!

It’s awesome it lets me create new texture sets instantly
a new age of bloat for dfc..
minor painted bricks adjustments..
I have one request, Raw ore blocks and or decorative ore blocks.
I want to achieve every bloat decoration mod creators dream
I want to create a version of a countertop block with every wood and rock combination
I will use baked models to avoid blockstate explosion… one block with a container for what the counter is made of and what the bottom is made of, each item will spawn that block with the set corresponding to it… that way it doesn’t use up 20gb of ram
Actually I kinda don’t like the idea of a countertop block
But I’ll do it with something of that nature
i finally got them to actually move along straight rails
it took a ridiculous amount of time to figure out in the mixins...
since theyre designed to be inside of the position the rails are in, they would collide with the side of the block (next rail) and then be teleported up, being unable to pass on
this is awesome
Hi, im developing a 1.21.1 modpack where I like to add custom stuff to and I like this mod. And I have already added a lot of rock types that are also in the mod so its not really a matter of adding it when you publish 1.21.1 builds. Could I, with credit given to you use the textures of some of the features I'm interested in like leaded glass (Im trying to find any use I can for lead rn lmao)?
Which features in specific?
Just leaded glass?
Yeah.
Ok yeah you can use them with credit given, also include the name of the mod in the credits file or whatever instead of just my username though
I already have a file with some attributions and it also has the license so ill to the same with this.
