Oh if you like exploring, I would suggest to pair up the Eureka Ships with some addons to it, and some ocean mods like:
Aquamirae it adds frozen ocean biome
When Dungeons Arise - Seven Seas it adds beautiful ships you can visit and plunder

and some mod I forgot the name of that makes oceans bigger

This is amateur advice but you shouldnt input more than half of how much ram you have.

i know create nuclear has a thing called blueprints you put into the nuclear reactor in order to produce Su and sometimes putting the wrong one can blow it up

also whenever they update the mod sometimes they update how blueprints work so if you forget to remove the blueprint before updating and join theres a chance itll go kaboom

and making one nuclear reactor is painful needing stars for it

You are almost perfectly describing MineColonies, other than colonies found in the world are abandoned and have no pre-existing colonists. Other than that the mod works exactly as described.

The only other thing I can think of close to what you described would be like villager recruits, but MineColonies matches your description a lot better.

for Forge, use Embeddium to boost the performance, Oculus to use Shaders, Fusion (Connected Textures) for connected textures resource packs
for Fabric and NeoForge, use Sodium to boost the performance, Iris to use Shaders, Continuity for connected textures resource packs
For older versions there's Angelica for 1.7.10 which also has shader support, and for 1.12.2 there's Relictium

keep in mind that Relictium and Angelica are in beta and might not work proprely, and Optifine is still alright for 1.12.2 and older, but if you want something else, then go on and get those mods
