issue: one of the people on my server has a heck of a time connecting to the server. sometimes they can't join at all, other times they'll join, everything will be frozen, and it doesn't unfreeze. sometimes they can join just fine, others it takes a ton of tries
i just noticed in the console they're also dcing after dying

they're the only person with this issue so i know it's client side.
and they don't have a terrible computer or internet connection (someone else on the server has a potato and they're fine), their pc can handle ffxiv no problem

yeah, there arent going to be many mods in general for recent minecraft updates. The best thing to do is to wait a bit for the developer to upload a new version for 1.20.6

and i've been chatting with them and they've said they freeze constantly in game, too. so they've just been doing light building around their base and just dealing with the freezing, and relogging when that happens
and then trying repeatedly until the game lets them on again

Are you using the CurseForge launcher or another one like Prism? Being a 1.7 pack it will need a older version of java. I am on Linux so I don't remember how to change Java on Windows.

Does anyone know of a Forge mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 that fixes behavior of modifier keybinds?

For instance, if you have a bind set to G and a bind set to Shift + G, pressing Shift + G will call both the bind for G and the bind for Shift + G.

I know of a few mods for forge that claim to fix this but they don't appear to be working at the moment, they are:

• Modifier Key Fix by Fureniku (I don't believe this works for modded keybinds, or at least for the ones we're specifically trying to use)
• Keybinding Patch by Giant_Salted_Fish (Causes crash on startup when used with Essential)
• Modern Keybinding [Forge] by MikhailTapio (Not updated to 1.20.1)

If anyone knows of anything please let me know, having modifier keys would make the modpack I'm making play A LOT nicer. Thanks!
