It was in the first mod pack (just put some mods together myself) that I played. Other tech mods I had in there were Mekanism for power generation and Galacticraft, because my brother wantet it. The other mods were more magic related, like AM2 and Witchery and Tinkers Construkt was in there too.

You can try using visualvm(software) and watch CPU profiler I found a mod that make high CPU usage tht add entities I removed it and tps is really better, alternately you can try using spark mod

you need to know the exact name of the mod and the item, for this activate advanced tooltipps, look at the item and on the botten there will be it's exact name (example: minecraftmod:stone_hexagon). when you know what the modname is create a texture pack but instead of the minecraft folder, use the modname, then in the folder you do everything like in vanilla texturepacks, but you put the item idea of teh modded item

this is a poor statement. you could add 200 mods in one pack, and it would feel like 50 in another. some mods are massive, but many do barely anything, tweaking one small aspect for qol or performance reasons

I've already come up with the concept in my head. My current modpack effectively remasters mc, with the 1.20 version i'm working on having a new mod that expands on the lore a little (in addition to redoing the pack). The idea is that it would be a sort-of sequel to the game, where the player starts in the outer end. I would say more... but I don't want to ruin it if I do end up pursuing it in the future

Do you have some of their addon/supporting mods. I greatly recommend whatever is available. "Immersive Aircraft" with it's Create texture pack if it is available is great too. I would also recommend "Effective" it adds some nice ambiance to water and lava that is enjoyable.
