It probably opens the ancient launcher, because a process has compatibility mode activated, turn it off, restart Overwolf (fully), and it should launch the proper launcher.
So do like Chief said with OverwolfLauncher, and uncheck the "Run the program in compatibility mode"
Basically it's telling every process that gets launched through Overwolf, that "Hi, I'm Windows 7" (or whatever version is selected), and then the Minecraft launcher goes "Oh, this is an old verison, lets use this one instead, lol"

I have a question, I just downloaded a large modpack (30GB) and I don't want the pack on my PC, I want it on my hard drive. If I copy and paste it, it's on the hard drive too. But if I then delete the file on my computer, the modpack is completely deleted. How can I somehow push the pack onto the hard drive or install it directly there?

hello! i just exported a modpack i had saved locally and uploaded the .zip file to discord. but now that i'm at the pc i wanted to import the pack into, i have discovered its just a mod list. is there any way to download all these mods instantly or upload the .zip directly to curseforge, or do i have to manually download all the mods again via the modlist links?

- Wait for CurseForge app to download and unpack all the required files.

You can update the mod loader within the same game version in the CurseForge app by following these steps!
- Click on the modpack profile you are working with.
- Click on the button next to the play button.
- Click on the Profile Options button.
- Select the mod loader version you want from the dropdown.
- Play!
If you need to update to a new game version, a new profile is required.

If I remember right you shouldnt be including the modloader or its files to start with. ei the .jar minecraft_server.jar or the libraries folder. Users should be downloading it on their own or have a script to do it.
