There are two ways to share a modpack you've made with others...

Export and Share - For Friends to Small Groups.

1. Click the Icon for the modpack.
2. Click the button next to play.
3. Click Export.
4. Select the files that should be included.
5. Send the zip to the people that want it! They can follow the instructions in !mc-installpack to install the pack!

Upload to Curseforge - For Public Release to Everyone.

This options will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

1. Go to here: https://www.curseforge.com/project/432/4471/create
2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
4. Click the button next to play.
5. Click Export.
6. Select the files that should be included.
7. Open your Project you made on the CurseForge site and Upload the file you just made.
8. Wait for Moderation & Sync so it can show up in the client! (See !sync for limitations)

I have sorted my addons by "Action" to put the items needing updates at the top, items recently updated next, and the rest below. I just tested closing CurseForge out and going back in and the arrow moved to the Addon column

So it's not saving between sessions

It's the "remain in the column" part while simultaneously not maintaining the sort for the column that prompted my report. If you believe that's by design, then I'd say that's not an intuitive design and if I need to do a feature request to ask for changes, then I can do that... but was hoping that there was something that could be done to help it maintain the sort, as the old Curse always sorted addons with updates to the top and I really liked that. This one will do it too, but requires the manual clicking to sort it each time.

In further testing, it seems to be reproducible by forcing a refresh, so I'd guess that the automatic refreshes were what was triggering it before.

Altering a premade pack is usually something we dont recommend doing as it can/will cause issues. In most cases the easiest fix is to reinstall the pack. Otherwise your on your own to figure out whats wrong as we have no idea what all you did.

Upload to Curseforge - For Public Release to Everyone.

This options will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.

Forge = Minecraft Forge, This is a modloader often just called "Forge".
Fabric = Fabric MC, this is another modloader, just called "Fabric".
CurseForge = A Website/App that has content for games.
Mods = Individual mod files.
Modpacks = Multiple mods put into the mods folder or downloaded from CurseForge.

These are not Interchangeable! Please use the correct terms as it allows us to help you faster!

File is a duplicate of an existing file. AutoBanPlus on AutoBanPlus
I don't have any AutoBanPlus file in my .zip

Basically, I have been playing modded minecraft with a client from cf. Today I opened my game and all of a sudden my world has just disappeared from the singleplayer world list, yet it is in my "saves" folder.

so better minecraft forge 1.16.5 isnt working on a laptop i have, it gets to the final loading screen and then crashes, says exit code 6, sorry for the inconvenience, any idea how to fix this?

Error/Exit codes are useless. Follow these steps so someone can actually help you.

1. Right-click the modpack profile icon OR click the button in the modpack profile.
2. Click Open Folder.
3. Open the logs folder.
4. Drag and drop the FILE named latest OR debug into discord.
