There are two ways to share a modpack you've made with others...

Export and Share - For Friends to Small Groups.

1. Click the Icon for the modpack.
2. Click the button next to play.
3. Click Export.
4. Select the files that should be included.
5. Send the zip to the people that want it! They can follow the instructions in !mc-installpack to install the pack!

Upload to Curseforge - For Public Release to Everyone.

This options will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

1. Go to here: https://www.curseforge.com/project/432/4471/create
2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
4. Click the button next to play.
5. Click Export.
6. Select the files that should be included.
7. Open your Project you made on the CurseForge site and Upload the file you just made.
8. Wait for Moderation & Sync so it can show up in the client! (See !sync for limitations)

There are two ways to share a modpack you've made with others...

Export and Share - For Friends to Small Groups.

1. Click the Icon for the modpack.
2. Click the button next to play.
3. Click Export.
4. Select the files that should be included.
5. Send the zip to the people that want it! They can follow the instructions in !mc-installpack to install the pack!

Upload to Curseforge - For Public Release to Everyone.

This options will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

1. Go to here: https://www.curseforge.com/project/432/4471/create
2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
4. Click the button next to play.
5. Click Export.
6. Select the files that should be included.
7. Open your Project you made on the CurseForge site and Upload the file you just made.
8. Wait for Moderation & Sync so it can show up in the client! (See !sync for limitations)

Sync and your Project.

CurseForge REQUIRE a project to have one file marked Released on them for the projects to show up in search. Otherwise only Direct links to the project work.

Files can take a while to show up in the app. If your files still have not shown up either your project is new and you have yet to mark a file as Release or there is issues with the sync system making it slow.

Okay, I searched and there are multiple people who had the same issue. I figured it out and posting it in case someone else needs to know. At the top of the curseforge app window next to the search bar is a dropdown. In my case, it showed Retail twice in the dropdown but no classic. Click on the 3 dots next to the dropdown and choose "Manually add a game." Go to the wow folder in your computer (Program files>World of Warcraft), open it and select the _classic folder. Hit okay and it will be added to the dropdown.

Where to find the log on the CurseForge Client.

Right-click the modpack profile icon OR click the button in the modpack profile.
Click Open Folder.
Open the logs folder.
Find the file called latest.log and drag it into discord.

Because, from a programmer's perspective, there's no practical reason it shouldn't work. I have spaces in my directory, I have a long directory path, so path probably doesn't matter.

DISM is Microsoft's way of double-checking that everything is alright with your system. My hunch is that you have corrupted system files. System File Checker (sfc) does the same thing, but differently.

Export and Share - For Friends to Small Groups.

1. Click the Icon for the modpack.
2. Click the button next to play.
3. Click Export.
4. Select the files that should be included.
5. Send the zip to the people that want it! They can follow the instructions in !mc-installpack to install the pack!

Upload to Curseforge - For Public Release to Everyone.

This options will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

1. Go to here: https://www.curseforge.com/project/432/4471/create
2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
4. Click the button next to play.
5. Click Export.
6. Select the files that should be included.
7. Open your Project you made on the CurseForge site and Upload the file you just made.
8. Wait for Moderation & Sync so it can show up in the client! (See !sync for limitations)

Hello, I've been trying to install the new curseforge app since it's moved away from the twitch app but everytime I try to open the installer it just doesn't work.
The prompt does show up where it asks if you want to allow it to make changes to your device, but if you select yes, it will immediately close out.
I am using Windows 10 on a laptop with 16gb ddr4 memory core i7 (not sure what gen) and an old gtx 960.
