Recently I discovered in the files of that modpack a random folder with text files and lists titled stuff like "femalenames.txt" or "passwords.txt" or "eng-wiki.txt" things along the lines of those. My friend researched and told me there's a chance it could be connected to a malware issue back then. Salutations, I am having an issue with my mod-pack that I am not sure how to resolve.
When people attempt to get my mod-pack, they are getting these errors. (images attached.)
For some reason, data-packs within the "OpenLoader", Scripts within "KubeJS", and Configs within "Configs" are all being flagged as non-curseforge parented files (and in some regions, making the mod un-installable)
Plenty of mod-packs seem to do this though, and I am having difficulty figuring out how to resolve it. And everything I've read says I should be able to upload these without problem.

CurseForge is working the same way no matter the region. If a issue is happening with a region, then it's a issue within the location (Ex: regional restrictions) and should not be the application's fault. For now CurseForge consider config files and other harmless files as potentially harmful, it's under improvement.

It's trying to auto-install the most recent version of the mod, which happens to be for the wrong version of Minecraft. You need to filter by Minecraft version, and manually click install on the version of the mod that's for the version of Minecraft you're playing

Yes, delete all of these entries. They can mess up the DNS and cause the kind of network issues that you are experiencing, there is no way to know if they are causing issues but deleting them should not cause any problem.

It's possible your OS will prevent you to modify this file, so open it again after saving to make sure it's modified. If that doesn't want to save it properly, you will need to use powershell to edit the file

Microsoft login issues with the CurseForge App

If you own a Minecraft account, but trying to log in using the CurseForge app is not working, try these things:
If at any step it suddenly works, you do not need to continue with the rest.

1. Check your internet connection and try again. You can try opening some tabs in your browser or other tests to make sure you are online.
2. Restart the CurseForge App and try again.
3. Verify that the account login information is actually correct, no wrong email, typo, etc, then try again. If you don't remember your credentials, contact Microsoft Support. CurseForge has nothing to do with it.

🔹 If none of these methods worked, do this:

1. Click the in the bottom left corner of the App.
2. Select Minecraft.
3. Change the launch option from CurseForge App to Mojang Launcher.

This will change how the game launches and instead of requiring you to log in via the App it will open a copy of the Mojang Launcher.

The DPI of Russia is blocking Minecraft modded as a whole

Except Fabric, and maybe some old versions of Forge & NeoForge.

You can bypass the DPI with Zapret and some steps. Start by adding these domain names inside the general-list file:

curseforge.com
api.curseforge.com
overwolf.com
forgecdn.net
edge.forgecdn.net
mediafilez.forgecdn.net
minecraftforge.net
maven.minecraftforge.net
neoforged.net
maven.neoforged.net
fabricmc.net

Then try every alts one by one. Everytime you are trying a new alt, you must restart CurseForge and do a repair installation

If the modpack is uploaded to CurseForge, then there should be a file named "modlist" inside. Otherwise you will need to use a mod like CrashAssistant

I notice in the log it says failed SSL handshake, but I'm confused, because my internet is pretty good and I run curseforge as an administrator/took down my firewalls and antivirus.

Internet and network are 2 different things, even if they are related. Sometime you can have issues opening a site while everything else is working fine, it's the same thing with applications

Can you try with Cloudflare Warp? The errors and the log do show some network issues, Warp will fix most issues at once without having to try fixes one by one
