so, i made a curseforge pack and a modrinth pack for a server, they're the exact same as i exported the cf pack to modrinth, but when some people download the CURSEFORGE pack, it says theres a virus (image below) but theres no virus, i made it.

Hey. Is there a way to sort mods in a profile by date downloaded/updated? I used to do this by sorting files by "date modified" in the mods folder (in file explorer) but that no longer works. When I install a mod using the app, the date assigned to the file isn't when I downloaded it but just a seemingly random date. This makes it harder to find what mods are causing crashes.

How to upload a server pack

Serverpacks are special files uploaded alongside an existing project file.

*In order to upload a server pack you must have a pre-uploaded export file

1. Make the server pack by zipping up the required files by selecting the required folders & files. It should include the config and mod folders at a minimum, plus anything else you specifically required to run the server. Start/Run/Setup scripts are optional. Don't include modloader files or the minecraft server jar.
2. Go to the Files tab on the project.
3. Click the name of the file you wish to upload the server pack to. The pack and server should match pack versions.
4. Click Upload Additional File.
5. Fill out the form.

Hello, I would like help with a problem that a friend and I are having.
We are trying to play with mods and a few months ago she started getting the error -1 from one moment to the next and we can't play. We tried several things, like updating Forge and Java in all their versions from 1.16.5 to the latest as of today and the game doesn't open, the error always appears, entering the game in the Forge version without any mods, and even formatting the computer but we always had an error. A week or 2 ago my friend tried to install the pirate launcher from Tlauncher (we were trying on the official one) and she was able to play again with many mods (we put the mods manually, not with CurseForge) and we thought it was solved, but now we want to play a modpack with more mods and the error -1 appeared again, in the pirate and official launcher. We installed the CurseForge application and opened the game from there (as I do) but when we hit "play" nothing happens, the green sphere appears for 1 second and disappears. We can't think of anything else to do.

-Java updated
-We want to play on 1.20.1, the installed Forge is the most recent version
-To confirm that it is her computer we asked more people to try it (some with pirated launchers and others official) and everything worked fine for everyone except her
-all with w11
-She has a laptop and those who did have it working were desktop PCs

We suspect that it is something badly installed or a configuration creating a failure because she said that in other programs on her laptop she has problems opening files.

1. Start the modpack you wish to fix. If it will not start, then click the in the top right of the app then select Run Vanilla Minecraft. Once created play it by clicking the green Play button that appears when hovering over it in the list of installations.

It appears curse forge is down atm as many games are down/limited that use it. Transferring on ark with curse forge down often loses your character. Can never tell how long it stays down...has varied greatly before. From an hour to a day. It will be up when it comes up like any tech issue unfortunately.

how do i determine which mod is not on curseforge anymore? i guess one in my modpack has been removed, and when i try to export it it says this:

Export the zip, then open it > open the overrides folder > check the mods folder. If there are any mods in the mods folder, delete them then reinstall them from thw cf app IF they are available on cf.

Other option is to scroll through the file lits in the export menu, anything with a beside it is either not from cf OR needs to be reinstalled via the app

Hey, anyone know a fix for this: i used to get 200 fps with complementary unbound shaders on and better minecraft 4 for the mod, at the same settings nothing was changed, my specs are 4070 super, i5 13600k and 32 gb ddr5. My buddy is running a 3070 with a ryzen 5 5600 and 32gb ddr4 and gets more fps than me, I'm getting about 140 while moving but then i get drops to 70-80 and when I'm not moving i get 180, he's getting a smooth 130fps consistently

There is always various factors in play to cause issues.... this is more true when you are on Windows (even more so if you have malware on your device)

Windows will also start to lag a bit if it is downloading updates.

the mod has an incorrectly named texture it looks like. Minecraft can't handle uppercase letters. Did you edit the name of anything in the files?

You would first need to know java coding. Then learn how the modloaders work. It wont be a simple 1, 2 and done thing. It will take a lot of work

What to do when getting the 'Oops' message
