Two ways to share a modpack you made with others

1. Click the Icon for the modpack.
2. Click the button next to play.
3. Click Export.
4. Select the files that should be included.
5. Send the zip to the people that want it! They can follow the instructions in !mc-installpack to install the pack.

:small_blue_diamond: Upload to Curseforge - For Public Release to Everyone

This option will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

1. Go to create a new project
2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
4. Click the button next to play.
5. Click Export.
6. Select the files that should be included.
7. Open your Project that you made on the CurseForge site and Upload the file you just made.
8. Wait for Moderation & Sync so it can show up in the client! (See !sync for limitations and !status to learn about the moderation process and how long it will take to approve/decline)

Question, I notice some minecraft modpacks have a tab for a downloadable world file

How do I do that for my project?

I plan to upload a bedrock addon and I want their to be a tab where people can download the world file (the map)

or am I allowed to upload a zip that has the addons and mcworld file in the zip? Will curseforge flag that because its a zip and not a .mcpack or .jar?

How to set Minecraft to use the correct GPU in Windows

If Minecraft will not start then use the tool linked at the bottom!

1. Open Task Manager while Minecraft is running (Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager)
2. Find minecraft in that list. It will be called something like "Java" or "OpenJDK Binary". (tip: sort by ram usage by clicking on the "Memory" tab. Minecraft uses a lot of ram so will be at the top)
3. Right click it and Open File Location
4. Copy the file path from Windows Explorer by clicking into the address bar and pressing Ctrl + C
5. Press and type in GPU, then press Enter to open Graphics Settings
6. Under Graphics performance preference select Desktop App
7. Click Browse
8. Click the address bar and paste in the folder location you copied by pressing Ctrl + V, then press Enter
9. Select the javaw or javaw.exe file from the files in front of you (tip: press J to immediately jump to the files that start with that letter)
10. Once selected, click Add in the bottom right of the window
11. Click the Options button on the newly added option
12. Set it to High performance on the best GPU you have

I made a Ticket but the problem is either funny or I am just stupid (second could be high chance)

So.. I have uploaded a project 2 x times with different titles (not intentionally)
Before it got approved, I deleted it because I noticed that the project is already active.
I tried to update my already existing project by uploading a new zip file.
Got rejected by the bot because it is already existing in my "deleted project"
Problem is, I can not delete files (here comes the part where I might be stupid) in a deleted project.

Curseforge uses a copy of the minecraft launcher, this is different from your default launcher you download from mojang. Once the mc launcher opens, the cf aqpp isnt doing anything any more. Which makes it a MINECRAFT issue not a CF app issue

Any way to recover a previous save or smth of the curseforge app? ok recently like about a 2-3 weeks ago i full reset my pc since i was tryna fix an issue with it, but ive reinstalled curseforge since then but now any mod i run is incredibly laggy, beforehand mods were fine, mods that iused to be able to run were running perfectly and now they dont, ive done the thing where i turn off system memory setting and set to like 8-10k and it just doesnt fix it, to clarify its not "lag" per say its more ill be running a smooth 80-90 fps and every couple seconds or so the game will just freeze completely non stop

is there like an extra thing i need to install or something

How to set Minecraft to use the correct GPU in Windows

If Minecraft will not start then use the tool linked at the bottom!

1. Open Task Manager while Minecraft is running (Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager)
2. Find minecraft in that list. It will be called something like "Java" or "OpenJDK Binary". (tip: sort by ram usage by clicking on the "Memory" tab. Minecraft uses a lot of ram so will be at the top)

upgraded to windows 11, i use a vpn too, and all of a sudden curseforge just doesn't want to work. unless i don't use a vpn and even then its working incredibly slow and only sometimes.

Error/Exit codes are useless. Follow these steps so someone can actually help you.

1. Right-click the modpack profile icon OR click the button in the modpack profile.
2. Click Open Folder.
3. Open the logs folder.
4. Drag and drop the FILE named latest OR debug into Discord.

This option will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

1. Go to create a new project
2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
4. Click the button next to play.
5. Click Export.
6. Select the files that should be included.
7. Open your Project that you made on the CurseForge site and Upload the file you just made.
8. Wait for Moderation & Sync so it can show up in the client! (See !sync for limitations and !status to learn about the moderation process and how long it will take to approve/decline)

You can only mod games in which are on curseforge through curseforge. If theres a steam game or whatever not on curseforge, you cannot mod it through curseforge

Whatever curseforge has on it's main menu is the selection of games it has available for modding through their launcher
