hello i have a problem with curse forge and getting this error code: The game crashed whilst unexpected error Error: java.util.ConcurrentModificationException: null

I am also having an issue. Whenever I try to start any mod pack through Curseforge, the launcher says the game has crashed but there is no crash log. I've tried installing the relevant version of java, and different mod packs but I just get the same result every time. For reference, vanilla minecraft versions and mods run fine through the minecraft launcher, so this is definitely something with curse forge

After a couple minutes these messages pop up, this even continues to happen after attempting to repair my curse forge installation. The files inside the "game" folder just won't generate

How to set Minecraft to use the correct GPU in Windows

If Minecraft will not start then use the tool linked at the bottom!

1. Start the modpack you wish to fix. If it will not start, then click the in the top right of the app then select Run Vanilla Minecraft. In the launcher that opens, go to the Installations tab and choose New Installation. Choose a name and select the Minecraft version of the modpack you are trying to run (like 1.19.4 or 1.7.10). Once created play it by clicking the green Play button that appears when hovering over it in the list of installations.
2. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager
3. Find Minecraft in the list of running programs. It will be called something like Java or OpenJDK Binary. (tip: sort by ram usage by clicking on the Memory tab. Minecraft uses a lot of ram so will be at the top)
4. Right click it and Open File Location
5. Copy the file path from Windows Explorer by clicking into the address bar and pressing Ctrl + C
6. Press and type in GPU, then press Enter to open Graphics Settings
7. Under Graphics performance preference (called Custom options for apps in Win 11) select Desktop App
8. Click Browse
9. Click the address bar and paste in the folder location you copied by pressing Ctrl + V, then press Enter
10. Select the javaw or javaw.exe file from the files in front of you (tip: press J to immediately jump to the files that start with that letter)
11. Once selected, click Add in the bottom right of the window
12. Click the Options button on the newly added option
13. Set it to High performance on the best GPU you have

Also, it appears that if you are using a shader, you cannot change the shadow distance if shaders are enabled.

This meens if there would be on 32 chunks they will only render to 12 bec Render Distance = 12
So no need to change them at all.

During weekends the time for projects getting accepted can become 2-3 days. And since it is still scanning for malware. Then I guess it needs to be manualy reviewed on Monday morning when they arrive at work.

I know that sometimes they have people working weekends, or just looking trough projects that are up for approval. So you will just have to be patient untill something happens.

It has nothing to do with Bukkit itself, but with the download website not working. The plugin is https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/bukkit-plugins/worldedit/files/2431372, but the link there works; this is an old link that normally redirects to the new download, but the SSL certificate probably expired.

i searched curseforge rules regarding Mod policy and couldnt find something regarding that.
Basically i added a metric in my mod. which means ones per server start the Config values from my file will get send to a discord webhook, with their serverseed (so it should be anonymous).

how curseforge handles that kind of stuff? Webhooks allowed or not? people can obt out from sending metric data via config tho.

Purpose is, only a fraction of people use the forums to discuss feedback, so i want use the metrics to figure out what are the most common settings what stuff is hyped and what not.

How to update your mod loader within the same game version in the CurseForge app

1. Click on the modpack profile you are working with.
2. Click on the button next to the play button.
3. Click on the Profile Options button.
4. Select the mod loader version you want from the dropdown.
5. Play!

Hi. So as I am playing modded, at a random point in time, be it half an hour or one to two hours, the game will first freeze for a bit. Then, I will either:

• Get a full black screen
• Flickering of the in-game and black screen

In both cases, I will not be able to see anything, but I will still be able to play Minecraft normally.
What would be the reason towards this, and why? It's every time I launch modded, be it a few mods or a fully fletched modpack.

Mods on CurseForge are only for Java edition Minecraft

Mods on CurseForge are only for Java edition!
Addons are for Bedrock Edition, you can't use mods on bedrock.

Java Edition and Bedrock/Windows Edition are bundled now.

Can I find a way to have optifine in a fabric folder?

You need OptiFabric to be able to use OptiFine on Fabric

And even then, you shoule be using Sodium on Fabric
