You cannot update mc versions of packs already made. As mods are made for specific mc versions, updating the mc version will break the pack.

Need to make a new profile and reinstall all the mods IF they are avaliable for the mc version you want to play.

Worlds may also break due to changes between versions

is their a way to fix this, if you make a quilt pack go to the mod filters and enable fabric mods to show, they dont let you add them even thought fabric mods run on quilt, and their is a massive amount of them that arnt marked as quilt (4000 to be exact)

If the mod devs didnt tag their mods with the fabric tag, you will have to manually add the mods OR politely ask the devs to add the fabric tag to their mods

the app will only add mods to profiles tagged with the modloader the mods are listed for.

One of them got tagged as copy of already exsisting file and got removed by the auto bot. But that's still a bug that should be checked i think

I'm running into the same issue as Lobo. I'm getting exit code 1 whenever I try to launch Minecraft with forge. I don't have any mods or shaders installed, I've reinstalled Minecraft, forge, Java, and I've updated everything I possibly can on my PC. As a Ark-Server-Admin im used to config parameters like this for modded servers:

But i just cant search theese numbers on the website and translate back which addon/mod was what and make sure i dont remove the wrong mod/addon.

Is there anything known regarding this?

Because when i now search for the Project-ID which is unique it just returns nothing, its like beeing on amazon and searching for an ASIN and dont get anything back 😭

I'm not aware of anything like that at present. I keep a notepad list of the name, publisher, id, and link since titles and descriptions can be edited post upload now. If your community is recommending mods to you I'd ask for the link on CF to add and save you some hassle.

You need to make changes to the pack in the CF app, then export it and upload that file, you don't make those kinds of changes on the pack page

How to set Minecraft to use the correct GPU in Windows

If Minecraft will not start then use the tool linked at the bottom!

1. Start the modpack you wish to fix. If it will not start, then click the in the top right of the app then select Run Vanilla Minecraft. In the launcher that opens, go to the Installations tab and choose New Installation. Choose a name and select the Minecraft version of the modpack you are trying to run (like 1.19.4 or 1.7.10). Once created play it by clicking the green Play button that appears when hovering over it in the list of installations.
2. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager
3. Find Minecraft in the list of running programs. It will be called something like Java or OpenJDK Binary. (tip: sort by ram usage by clicking on the Memory tab. Minecraft uses a lot of ram so will be at the top)
4. Right click it and Open File Location
5. Copy the file path from Windows Explorer by clicking into the address bar and pressing Ctrl + C
6. Press and type in GPU, then press Enter to open Graphics Settings
7. Under Graphics performance preference (called Custom options for apps in Win 11) select Desktop App
8. Click Browse
9. Click the address bar and paste in the folder location you copied by pressing Ctrl + V, then press Enter
10. Select the javaw or javaw.exe file from the files in front of you (tip: press J to immediately jump to the files that start with that letter)
11. Once selected, click Add in the bottom right of the window
12. Click the Options button on the newly added option
13. Set it to High performance on the best GPU you have

Hi. Apologies if this isn't the right channel for this... I'm having trouble reaching ANY Minecraft modpack within curseforge - either through the App or through a browser.

Through CurseForge App I see the following SSL error in the log when attempting to download anything:

Greetings friends, having an issue where I'm pushing a new version of a wow addon (source hosted on Curse's git) is not being acknowledged in any visible way. I know git is up to date on Curse's end, but --

• there is no review message I can see
• there is no mention of the new version on the site
• the addon Updated date is unchanged
• a forced repackage gave {"success":true} but otherwise had no discernable effect
• I have no messages on curse
• I have no emails from curse suggesting something failed or was rejected

I'm not sure what to try next, any assistance available with this?

Are you browsing for the game exe or the user files (mods saves etc). The app needs to be pointed at the exe location.

The other thing that can cause issues is having the game or user files on an external drive, particularly if the drive letter changes.
