Hi guys, my curseforge application keeps deleting itself somehow, any ideas on what's going on here? This isn't the first time it's happened either. I use curseforge to mod sims 4, upon trying to open curseforge it tells me the app no longer exists on my system. I reinstall, all my mods are still on file so we're good to go. Well, today the same thing happened, but this time upon reinstalling, my mods folder is completely wiped. I was able to restore them luckily but I'm not sure why the program keeps deleting itself from my PC?

Not sure why the app can't be found/is deleting itself. Do you use OneDrive/iCloud? If so it's possible the sync system is removing it, so check those settings. If you don't use cloud backup, then opening a ticket with the main helpdesk is probably your next step.
I just want to confirm when you say your mods folder is wiped, do you mean all mods are deleted from Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods or just not showing in the app?

I'm not sure this here is the right category, if not, I'm sorry.. but I have an issue right now, I'm not sure if its curseforge or windows 11, but installing a modpack isnt saving the keybinds inside options.txt as it should. I'm using the same .jar to install it as everybody else yet I'm the only one with the issue?

Try downloading the zip file > extract it > then replace the options.txt file in your pack with the one from the zip

thats pretty much the only fix I can do, I open my options.txt then manually paste in the missing keybinds data. I was hoping I could understand why this is happening and if its an issue on my side or what 😦

The only thing I can think of is the options.txt doesnt match your systems keybinds. Ie the key binds set by the dev, you dont have.
Generally devs really shouldnt be shipping the options.txt file, as each user will have a different setup.

the weirdest behavior I totally don't get is the first time I log in. I have the correct keybinds, even tho they're not in options.txt. Then after a while they suddenly, without warning, without me logging off or anything, I could even be afk when they'll revert to the default settings

I am having an issue with the backspace key. It works in every other application on my PC, and if I launch minecraft from the regular minecraft launcher, it works fine. I googled the issue a lot, when I googled it for a specific app I found threads that say to disable hardware acceleration and that always fixes it. When I google it for my GPU specifically I only found a few threads from years ago that said a recent driver update caused it and reverting that update fixes it but those are many years old and I always assumed that driver issue must be fixed since then.

These seem to be different issues, for me the inverted colours are only restricted to specific apps, for example:

Minecraft Launcher
TWW3 Launcher
Steam(Fixed after turning hardware acc. off)
Google chrome(Fixed after turning hardware acc. off)
Whereas in those threads the colours of the entire monitor are off

Using AMD, and having had many problems including inverted colors. I can confirm that hardware acceleration often causes problems. Also there are really a ton of options in the BIOS that can create this kind of problem, it's pretty interesting to research.
A lot of things can cause colors problem that I've had to research.

Yeah I found a lot of AMD threads about it, it seems like this issue is not uncommon. Never had this issue on an Nvidia card.
Also I have never checked BIOS settings, only app settings and the settings on what I think is the AMD equivalent of Nvidia control panel.

Hi there! Real quick question.
I've just uploaded several new updates for my pack. On the Legacy site, I've archived the (now) outdated versions, leaving only the current versions available. However, the new site is still showing the archived files when I filter by All Game Versions, and is not displaying the updated files under All Game Versions. I can only see the new ones in the list if I filter by specific versions.
Is there something else I need to do to make sure archived files aren't displayed on the new site? I don't think I've run into this before. Thanks!

So every time i try to install/update any packs it will not let me and says things like "the remote name could not be resolved edge.forgecdn.net" or "Forge Modloader installation failed" and many more error messages. I have tried reinstalling, repairing profile, reinstalling java, and pretty much everything else I could think of and nothing has worked. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
