How to add/remove mods in a modpack:

Hey guys i'm having a problem with chat and its NOT the normal one, when i press t i get instant red text in the chatbox saying "Cannot send chat message" can't even open chatbox.
Xbox privacy is all set to everyone/allow and my settings for minecraft chat is set to shown.

I was submitting a Minecraft modpack and it got rejected because the resource packs were added directly to the files instead of downloaded from Curseforge Launcher (Something about referencing the creators so they can give them money, which makes sense).
So I fixed that but then it got rejected because there were too many zip files (What?!?).
Most of the zip files are the resource packs I just re-downloaded, so I tried extracting them, but when I extract them it treats them as if they were added directly to the files, which is the thing that got me rejected the first time.
So uhh... what the heck do I do?

I've been trying to upload a modpack for minecraft for a couple of days now, just a small pack for a server me and some friends have. But the validation has been impossible so far.

I do not understand why my summary is wrong when its litterally the same as a pack thats been approved already. Why do i have to jump through a million hoops and all these other packs dont?

2. Name it, select the required Minecraft version, select the modloader & modloader version (usually the highest number), click Create.
3. Click the profile icon.
4. Click Add More Content
5. Search and install the desired mods.

How to install mods that are not on the CurseForge app

1. Right click the profile picture or Open the profile and click the Icon next to the play button.
2. Click Open Folder.
3. Drag the mod(s) into the mods folder. (Note: Some mods will require others, to run. Make sure to read the instructions for the mod!)

During one of our (Ir)Regularly (Un)Scheduled Beta Site Redirects™, I ran into a bug with the comments... tab?... where the editor didn't work correctly
expected behavior: I should be able to select text, then replace it without my text cursor being sent to the end of the box as if I had typed ctrl + end
Actual behavior: If I select text and type, the text cursor moves to the end of the box after the first keystroke. If I had selected "first" in my previous sentence and typed "second", the end of the sentence would've become "after the s keystrokeecond"
Is this a known issue?

Side note, I know the redirects are supposed to alleviate load, but it's really frustrating I'm not given a choice in the matter beyond "deal with it" or "come back later", since bugs like the one described above are pretty commonplace still in the beta version. Especially frustrating if I'm already on one version of the site but WHOOPS, HTTP is connectionless so here have the other version! Like could you at least give me a link so I can go back to the other version of the site or something?

Hi, please is there an option in curseforge to install multiple mods at once, i installed a lot of mods from curseforge and after i had to move my mods folder out to update my sims 4 game, after that i had to delete some files due to some issue, but now i am trying to install them back again because they all still appears in the My Mods category of the app but going through the whole thing one by one again is kinda overwhelming, i was hoping there was an option to reinstall them all at once or atleast be able to select and install multiple at once to save some time.

Hi everyone!
I'm using the CurseForge App for a long while now. On a completely erratic basis, i have to reinstall it every one in a while. sometimes its twice a month, sometimes twice a week, somteimes not once in 6 weeks or so. Its an easy fix to just download the latest version and start over again but to be hones, it keeps bothering me. For some reasons I dont understand, after i boot my pc, the CF app is just removed and when clicking the shortcut icon i just get the message that this file has been removed.
i also tried adding exceptions to my windows defender as this is the only antivirus on my pc, but unfortunate it did not pay off.
i can find on the web that some ppl have the same issue, but none of anyone provides a solution. Please help. Im runnung WIN11

How to upload a server pack

1. Make the server pack by zipping up the required files by selecting the required folders & files. It should include the config and mod folders at a minimum, plus anything else you specifically required to run the server. Start/Run/Setup scripts are optional. Don't include modloader files or the minecraft server jar.
2. Go to the Files tab on the project.
3. Click the name of the file you wish to upload the server pack to. The pack and server should match pack versions.

5. Fill out the form.

When making your own modpack, always be sure to run the game after installing liie, 25 mods to be sure it works and doesnt crash on start.
If this happens and you don't know what mod crashed it, you need to do a binary search. Here's my notes of how I did my binary search to make it as easy as possible.

It's also worth noting that, sometimes the CurseForge app doesn't show the correct amount of mods that are installed. If you're in doubt, the actual world folder (in this case mods folder) always tells the truth

You won't have to worry about getting the right version and the right modloader

1. Click the Icon for the modpack.

4. Select the files that should be included.

This option will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
