I am literally submitting a texture pack with soley the files it uses

I don’t understand why it’s being rejected over and over and over and over there is nothing to reject it for and I am being told there’s a Mac OS file but these mfs are opening it with 7zip or something and there’s probably a Mac OS file cuz ur on windows or something idk but whatever it is out of my hands as a Mac user

back with another mod question. I have found some CF packs with a mod(or mods) that are no longer available on CF, so those must have been approved when those mods existed. I can also not find a valid download location for that jar file anywhere anymore, except through downloading a pack that already has said mod.

is there any way to "restore" access to that mod? I don't necessarily mean recover the page, but I'm trying to find out how the mod file can be hosted again. mod author hasn't been on the forums since 2014 so I'm guessing that reaching out to them will be a dead end.

So I play Vault Hunters and I was having an issue with updating my world, I was told in their discord to try reinstalling VH after making a backup. I deleted in from Curse Forge and redownloaded it but I didn't select the button that says "Delete Profile Backups." It ended up deleting my instance and the backups saved in that world. I don't know what to do or if Curse Forge also has something similar to like a recycling bin

Generally when you make a backup you should be saving the world somewhere other then the packs folder.. as reinstalling the app does delete all the packs files. Can try looking in your pc recycle bin. Otherwise the app doesnt really have a recovery on deletion.

It looks like one of the packs you have installed might be breaking the app somehow. You could try removing the folder for it and then reload the app. D:\\Curse\\Instances\\Universal Interdimensional Escape
If you arnt sure how to do that, or it doesn't solve the problem I would suggest you make a ticket though and see what support says.

Fabric = Fabric MC, this is another modloader, just called "Fabric".
CurseForge = A Website/App that has content for games.
Mods = Individual mod files.
Modpacks = Multiple mods put into the mods folder or downloaded from CurseForge.

These are not Interchangeable! Please use the correct terms as it allows us to help you faster!

Better to use the app to install the mods, they dont always sync properly when your drag n drop. If the mods are from the CF site, you can find them in the app (dependent)

What I would recommend doing here is making a new custom profile, then use the app to download the mods, dont grab em from the site. Add a few mods at a time then test the pack, Keep doing this till it either stops working, OR you have all the mods you want again and it works

So, I've been trying to figure out what the problem is with Curseforge for a week. It worked fine, then after a few days, MC started lagging really bad. So I uninstalled and reinstalled Curseforge. After that is when the launcher started crashing. I uninstalled and reinstalled Curseforge again. This time it wouldn't install. So I uninstalled and reinstalled my network drivers. It installed. Now, whenever I try to download a mod pack, I keep getting the decyption operation failed. See inner exception. So I did everything on every website and I still get that error. Please help.

4. Try restarting your router and modem. Also try using a different connection if possible.
5. Try reinstalling Curseforge.

If you still have issues open a ticket (!ticket-site for info) and send your logs with it.

How to get the launcher log

1. Right click a modpack / profile.
2. Select Open Folder
3. Go back two folders.
4. Open the Install folder.
5. Drag the launcher_log.txt into discord.
