The gameplay loop in Enderal is very satisfying.
There is baseline no health regen and little mana/stam regen. Using most potions will stack a debuff by %% that at certain thresholds actually debuff you or kill you ohtright.
Also ingame food and wine is a constant need- not that there is a hunger or thirst system, but because they provide long lasting buffs

I wouldn’t call it hardcore. Just shuffled some mechanics around to encourage certain player behaviors

The alcoholic drinks boosting mana regen even has a strong tie in to the lore of the game. Where fuddling your mind helps you cope from peering into and manifesting alternate realities to conjure magic(lore speak for magic spells like fire and frost breath)

So right now all I know about enderal in pictures is that there are burning houses to what it seems like

You cannot as curseforge doesn't touch the .minecraft folder. You would need to keep moving them back and forth. Just migrate your world to your modded instance
