Powerdown/unplug the pc.

Can use a can of air to blow it out (do it outside)
Can use a dry rag to wipe up some dust(gently)

Dont use anything that can rip apart and get stuck in the components. Avoid wet things

If you use compressed air, make sure the fans dont spin. As this can generate small amounts of power pushing it back into the mobo

Installing Bedrock Addons on PC

As for the numbers, maybe it’s not 1,000 finalized mods, but the creative flow is massive. Even if it's 500, processing only 50 is a 90% failure rate. If you're happy with a bottleneck, fine, but don't call it 'quality control' when it's clearly just lack of resources.

CF's malware scanning is very automated. The system finds patterns (more efficiently than an ai) and will flag those suspicous things for a human to review.
The main bottleneck in review is probably descriptions and logos

Also if your claimed 90% slow down rate is true then we should be seeing mods from weeks ago getting approved, assuming they work in a first in first out system.

If you look in Hytale mods and sort by creation date you'll see the mods were created as recently as yesterday

If 1,000 mods are uploaded and they only pick 50 to review, of course those 50 will look 'recent,' but the other 950 are just disappearing into the void. That's not a fast system; that's a lottery.

Also, if the malware scanning is already 'automated' as you claim, then the bottleneck is even more ridiculous. Are you seriously suggesting the entire Hytale scene is slowed down because humans need to manually approve a logo and a short description? You can defend the status quo all you want, but the math doesn't lie: the output doesn't match the community's energy. We need efficiency, not excuses.

Actually, 1,000 is a very realistic estimate when you consider the current Hytale landscape. There are major Mod Jams with cash prizes happening right now, which fuels massive competition.

On top of that, a huge portion of the community is churning out simple content—like neon swords or basic stat tweaks—that takes 5 minutes to make. These might be 'low quality,' but they still enter the queue and clog the system. If you combine the competitive pros and the flood of beginners, the volume is staggering. This is exactly why a manual review of every single entry is unsustainable

AIs are always inferior than people with actual knowledge, because Artificial Inteilligence learn from these very people. Meaning that everything the AI can spot will be spotted by a human, and that this human have better chance to have knowledge and experience that even the AI doesn't have.

Every developers will tell you that to get a AI to code properly, you need to give it enough technical information and developer knowledge on the prompt. This is the same thing for malware reviewing.

The files are already being scanned automatically by specialized tools, but even these specialized tools, and this would includes AI itself, can fail to properly see some malwares. Hyper-reliance on AI will also degrade the experience and critical thinking of the human reviewers, this is bad enough for a shit full tons of programmers to lose their own jobs due to mistake their wouldn't make in the past and more difficult to get back to their original experience and having a worst understanding of what they are doing. This degradation of performance is proven by countless studies, most AIs will also agree with the points I am stating (screenshot below) - the only exception is that AI will be faster doing these tasks, but the risks are documented enough to know that we cannot trust AI to do this job-even one specialized to do it properly.

Let's days 250 projects are approved in average a week, we would have see multiple authors amount these 750 remaining projects come here and ask how long about the review time usually take. Why Piracy is bad

Aside from the fact that you're stealing content from creators, downloading pirated content breaks games' TOS. Piracy tends to add hidden costs without your knowledge!

When a game is pirated and given a way for "free", malicious actors will tend to sneak their own code and malware into the files that you download. This malware can involve anything from changing your computer hosts file to cause your computer to authenticate with their hacked servers instead of the official games servers, to key loggers that install separately and run, even when the pirated content is disabled or even uninstalled from your pc.

Hackers work hard to make sure their code doesn't trigger any of your antivirus software. This is a game for them: Who can infect the most devices without getting caught?

When you install pirated content, you are also risking any and every other computer, mobile device, gaming console or other internet-connected device on your home network. Hackers love to use your hardware as an access point to other devices.

TLDR; Hackers offer a "Free" version of paid software so that they can use your device as a free access point to do whatever they want, without your consent. They will continue to get away with it, too, as long as users continue download their corrupted content.

This stuff can get scary real quick

While a users information may not be important to malicious actors, thr location of the user might be. Use you as a stepping stone for a larger attack.

Im working on a remastered version of a modpack (on CF, modpack creator gave me permissiom) but it has one mod that adds like Reforges (small random stat boosts) and its missing some features that I really want.
Thats why Im recoding it but well, obviously I copied the idea and the code is pretty similar.

Ive asked for permission for upload but didnt get an answer yet - What should I do if I dont get an answer until I finish this mod?
