anyone ever experience issues with creative tabs disapearing? or any common mod culprits?

Oh yeah, I've seen that here and there.

Never really looked into it much, since it tends to rarely matter. It's lessing "missing" and more just some mysterious space.

My best guess is that it's a relic of an older time when mods assign themselves an ID based on a numerical order. Way back when, mods didn't have the useful ID like aquamirae:fin. They were all numerical. 1 is Grass Block, 2 is Dirt Block, etc, etc.

Nowadays mods assign themselves via namespace IDs which you can see with F3+H (Advanced Tooltips), but since they still have to assign themselves an order? The modloader just recycled that part into an organization tool.

Since mods are assigned IDs with numerical values, sometimes it can fumble and miss a value or two when gets opened up. Thus "empty tabs" since the game is expecting a mod that doesn't exist anymore.
Rarely impacts the actual game since most users just go "That's weird" and move on. It's not like they're actually missing any tabs so no loss to worry about.

At least, that's just my guess. Take it with a grain of salt or two.

(If all else, it's a bit of neat trivia for the newer users.)

New versions are somehow always less performant than the older one, FPS-wise at least. And the newest it is, the less options you get until people start inventing new ways specific for this version.

The actual bonus can range from anywhere between a -60% to 60% bonus too, over the cap by using Onyx (+9%).

You can get some crazy stuff going on. Borderline unbreakable gear, extremely damaging pets, almost every loot chest has something useful in it and potions just become outright broken.

Well, making structures generate and building them is more simple than making custom items or entities as far as i know.

You create the structures in MC with structure blocks and then import the nbt data, after that it’s all data driven no code needed, while items and entities require to be coded, registered, their assets to be created etc

I would recommend making a trailer for it and posting it on youtube, a 3 minute or so video should be good but of course do what’s enough to show your modpack, and then i’d post a 1 minute clip as a short while linking the long form video to it as shorts usually get more views

You know how in some games, when you manage to finally kill an enemy... that the game never goes to a negative number?

Like, you kill the generic enemy unit and their health is zero. They go poof, drops happen, you move on.

But if for just one story pivotal moment-- where the enemy would normally give some kind of dialogue option? Your character just ends up so pissed off that they don't just stop. They cut right through the dialogue. Triggering the death animation 3 more times while the health bar just scrolling into the negatives.

Just to really hammer in how utterly atomized that one unit is.

Its not that easy when we talk about REALLY fast horses + spear has more range so if you aim well, you can skewer enemies pretty easily.

The fastest horses i spawned were so fast that skeletons had problems with hitting them and these have 100% better aim than the most of players.

You know what? I found mod which works similarly to these anti-cheese mechanics for some modded bosses. Basically, when you take absurd ammount of damage you have second chance with long cooldown. And of course we can not forget about Totems of Undying.

I just came up with a great (and actually probably entertaining) PvP format idea:

1. Modpack with Truly Modular and Mythic Metals (and a datapack that adds better compat between them)
2. Everyone can make equipment with limited resources (or time limit)
3. No maces, potions etc. Just purely what you can get with Truly Modular stuff (and no maces)
4. Fun

Also I'd say personally maybe no enchants except loyalty and unbreaking (mending too maybe)
