i hoped i could find some mod creators to help me with some things regarding updating a mod myself.

i absolutely love the fairy lights mod. i prefer using fabric over forge and luckily someone already ported that mod from forge to fabric.
now the thing is, that the mod is 1.20.1 and I wanted to start updating it myself to 1.21.8. i have almost no knowledge in coding and never wrote a mod myself, so I asked chatgpt how to do it. i installed intelliJ and a minecraft example mod for 1.21.8. i tried running the client, and it worked.
after injecting the fairy lights mod into the example mod in intelliJ, i tried running the client, and obviously it gave around 100 errors. my plan was to continuously fix the errors. with the help of good old chatgpt i fixed more than half the errors. the real problems began with some missing classes in the cardinal components API. the cardinal components item API does not contain ItemComponent.class, even tho the code relies on it. also, the path "dev.onyxstudios.*" does not exist in any cardinal components jar...
what should i do about it?

The mod name pillager gunner
It said pillager and villager recruit will use gun from
-Tacz
-Sbw
But i found that villagers recruit use tacz gun but no aiming animation while pillager does, also village recruit doesn't use aim animation and they cant use sbw gun too
Pillager spawn with tacz model but i feel like they aren't using the tacz gun, they just spawn with model, and the creator said u need to config to let them use tacz gun.
So can someone help me to
-see what should i config to let pillager use tacz gun (not just spawn with model)

• see if village recruit can use the aiming animation or not (i believe there are options in config or the mod just didn't make it)
