Thing with the lan mods is they dont always work for everyone/with all mods. Meaning you are potentially not just troubleshooting your client, but anyone else you are playing with as well.

Not to mention the host pc is working double time or more to try and process bot the hosts game and friends games in 1 process... instead of 2

Vs an actual server that only has the 1 connection point and isnt as heavy processing wise for the host.

1.7.10 was also a finicky version. Adding a lan mod would just be more stress. Imo

I have played this mod before on a self hosted server. But that time I wasnt the one hosting. I d like to play it with friends from different country, I am a bit aftraid tho that my pc would really handle it. The laptop I use is a bit worn down already xd

Think of pings like yelling. When you talk with someone face to face, is the first word out of your moth before every sentance "HEY" or is it just the sentance normally?

Thats how I see pings. Gets annoying real fast.
