There isnt really a best, it more what you want out of it. Trusted mod manager apps I know are the following:

• Curseforge
• FTB
• Prism
• ATLauncher
• GDLauncher

There is also Modrinth but I havent personally used that one

Then of course the launcher from Microsoft/Mojang.
