Yes you need to own the game to play the game. Most if "free" versions of minecraft are malware or worse in disguise.

Cheaper to just pay the 1 time fee for life, then to pay to fix your pc/network.

Since Microsoft owns mojang now, the game is linked to your Microsoft account.

One thing I like about minecraft. Its a 1 time fee, no subscriptions no need to pay for updates.

Plus now when you by java edition you get bedrock as well. 2 for 1, for life.

i have a problem with my minectaft paper server: I'm trying to run world edit and 2 plugins called FAWE (FastAsyncWorldEdit) and GoBrush. When I start the server and run the command /plugins it says that there are 3 plugins installed on the server. But only WorldEdit appears in a green color and the names of FastAsyncWorldEdit and GoBrush are red. When I click on the red name then the serves says that This server is not running any plugin by that name. Is enyone able to help me?. Btw its a local Feather server

Possible reasons for experiencing low FPS

Please check the following list for possible reaons of experiencing low FPS.

• GPU (AMD specifically has issues)
• Is the correct GPU used
• Does the system have enough ram
• Is the correct amount of RAM allocated without going over excessively
• Are other things running in the background leading to lack of RAM
• Mods used
• Shaders
• View distance too high
• CPU core speed too low

The list intentionally ambiguous. There is no way to figure out what specifically causes your FPS issues, if there actually are any. Low FPS could simply be a result of the mods chosen in which you would need to trial & error out which are affecting it.

As a kid I played the heck out of an original xbox game called "Jet Set Radio Future". One of the main characters is a youth on skates named "YOYO"

I played Yoyo the most, also had a thing for yoyo's 🪀 as well so it fit well.

Something else as well, when I made my mc account way back in the early stages of mc, you werent allowed special charactrers. Only letters and numbers. YOYO was already taken, so YOYOK9 was born.

When you could change your name and add special chars, I had already grown attached to the name how it was. So I never bothered to add the underscore or a space between the yoyo and k9.

There is a chance these may not work, not all modpacks will work with al mods. But it doesnt hurt to try.

Download those 2 files and drop them into the packs mods folder. If you have any important worlds. Make a copy of them first, this way if something goes wrong the world isnt toast

Why do they keep making the Curseforge app worse? There used to be a "ignore until next release" option for mods and you used to be able to sort by "Action" but now both of those features are gone. Plus why in the heck isn't there a column that shows the last date the mod was updated? Latest version is great but that doesn't tell me squat about when it was updated. I have to go to the website to see that information which is stupid. And I know if I go to the "List" view it will show the date but I prefer the "Table" view.

Instead of speeding up the game, it slows down the cpus processing by trying to process all the ram, used or unused.

Yeah.. not sure they do any scanning on uploads. Some devs have reported their mods being reuploaded there, by users with similar names. BUT they tweaked the jar files to do bad things.... then point to the original devs issues pages.
