You have to be able to separate your friends' identities from the identity of their discord account, because one is a lot more vulnerable.

One suggestion I have to combat this is to occasionally hop in a voice chat with your friends so you know their voice (though beware of AI deepfakes), or if that's too much to coordinate, maybe set some sort of "shared meme" that you can use similar to a password. This makes it considerably easier to authenticate someone's identity and considerably harder to spoof them.

How to update your mod loader within the same game version in the CurseForge app

1. Click on the modpack profile you are working with.
2. Click on the button next to the play button.
3. Click on the Profile Options button.
4. Select the mod loader version you want from the dropdown.
5. Play!

If you need to update to a new game version, a new profile is required.
