Mods technically have 0 guarantees to work together to start with. Java itself is finnicky...

Better option is to pick 1 modloader and only stick to that 1 loader for a profile. When you start mixing modloaders and issues come up, most devs will tell you to remove the other modloader + mods and see if it still happens

Less of a headache to debug 1 modloader instead of 2 with classes mixing... can get confusing real fast.

Most users I help with custom packs and the connector mod are forge as the base. But usually end in removing the connector mod and other fabir related things...

Recommend exporting your pack if your using the cf app first. This will create a backup of sorts you can import if something goes wrong

Slower you go, + more tests, the better off youll be. Make lots of notes/backups as you go. Thats what I do.

Only thing windows 7 isnt doing for you is giving you important security updates to defend against New malware/trojans/zeroday etc.

Since Microsoft is pushing security updates. Its part of why some companies dropped support for Win 7, it can be a security risk.

I used to use Win7 vms for lab work, but our profs made sure we could not connect the vms to the colleges private network. They set up a "throwaway" network that basically ment we could ping/go to google. and nothing more. As these vms were basically trogan gateways to any other pc on the network.

Something else to keep in mind with ark as well. There are many moving parts for asa between cf and wildcard. May take time to get answers. A few of or moderation team is also in school (college/uni) so between the end/start of new terms.

hi! so i downloaded curseforge a while ago and i really liked it because i could download mods from it right away and delete them easily. the other mods i did not download from curseforge in my mods folder did not appear on curseforge, and i also really liked that because it was easier to keep track of my mods. like all the mods under "my mods" from curseforge showed up as from curseforge and curseforge only, no matter what i downloaded from outside the app. anyways, i had to make a new account in the sims and when i loaded curseforge back up, it processed all my mods, but now my mods all look really messy and all the mods i got outside of curseforge show up. every mod in curseforge says "download" now, even if i did download them before. theyre also all split into like files instead of the actual mod name with the thumbnail. so instead of the chingyu 100 traits mod being one mod, it now has 100 different files that label each files from the mod with a broken picture. how can i fix this so i can only see mods i downloaded from curseforge, and is there a way i can fix it so all the mods arent seperated into files? please let me know, im sorry this is so long. thank you!!

I manually did it… I had to give myself full perms over the entry that wouldn’t let me mess with it before

Just be cautious, editing the registry and messing with its perms can turn your pc into a brick if your not carful

If you want to remove the registry entries use revo uninstaller to uninstall it

It cleans up leftover files
