No, the Overwolf version needs the ow app to work. For the no ow app option, use the standalone

Some users with the issue your having, have fresh installed the stand alone and seemed to be ok, or at least they havent come back to tell us otherwise.

Other option as well is to open a ticket and see if higher support has any thoughts

Multiple minecraft instances can happen if MC doesnt fully close or leaves "ghost" processes. For the OW app from what I remember is its just the different processes the ow app has. They should close on their own.

If you play: MC, Sims, WoW or Stardew, you can switch to the Standalone app, which doesnt need the ow app to function

for now it should work with forge 47.1.3, as most 1.20.1 neoforge mods are compatible with that version

with a forge 47.1.3 profile, Immersive Engineering doesn't show up in search results. Only show up if you turn off the lock on the filter that allows Incompatible mods to be displayed. Then it'll show, but not have an install button.

thank you for your help and patience. It errors out with 47.1.3 and says IE needs 47.1.54 or later. Curseforge doesn't give a 47.1.x option past 47.1.47 but 47.2.0 seems to work (at least gets into a world creation)

i revised it a bit to fix some problems - instead of a cargo bay and extra small docking ports connecting the lander I bumped up the command module size so that a small could be used, it's all a lot more rigid now and the final stage has better delta v for the trip back home or another planet

1. Click the Icon for the modpack.
2. Click the button next to play.
3. Click Export.
4. Select the files that should be included.
5. Send the zip to the people that want it! They can follow the instructions in !mc-installpack to install the pack.

:small_orange_diamond: Upload to Curseforge - For Public Release to Everyone

This option will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

1. Go to create a new project
2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
4. Click the button next to play.
5. Click Export.
6. Select the files that should be included.
7. Open your Project that you made on the CurseForge site and Upload the file you just made.

That depends on when the creator is able to get it ready, how long the cf/wc acceptance procedure takes and if it's the right size for the ps5 to work with. Currently there's a 2gb limit for any individual mod and a 10gb overall limit. I believe these are being adjusted but have no more details.

Its not that I cant afford it, its more for her comfort. Shes getting pretty old, mobility isnt as good as it used to be. The carpet gives her some better grip.

She did almost have eggs during covid, I had given her some wet sand / a spot if she decided to lay them. She absolutely hated it.

If I would let her, she would probably perfer a fluffy blanket instead. Im in a colder climate as well, so anything with mosture could cause a negative issue.

How to install modpacks with the search features

1. Open the Minecraft section of the app.
2. Click the top search bar where it says Search for modpacks OR Click the Browse Modpacks Tab.
3. Find the Modpack you want to install and click install on it.
4. Wait for the CurseForge app to download and unpack all the required files.
5. Once finished, click Play!

How to install modpacks from an Export (Custom/Private/Site downloaded Modpack zip)

1. Get the CurseForge app if you don't have it, use !download for a link.
2. Get the exported modpack from CurseForge or someone else, !mc-packshare explains how to make them.
3. Open the Minecraft section of the app.

Does anyone else wish that minecraft had a more complex/dynamic ecosystem and environment? Like trees and plants that grows differently based on season/weather/soil, or animals having social hierarchy and complex interactions, everything around you interacting with one another in real-time even if the chunks are unloaded?

Some of the realism might not be necessary to improve the gameplay experience. But clearly, things like whether, season, and decaying blocks has made minecraft much more interesting to play. I wonder how far we can go in making minecraft even more complex, interactive, and life-like in a way that can enhance the gameplay experience?

Yep. TFC are one of my favorite minecraft mods to date. Vintage Story also intrigues me but I haven't tried it yet. But that only fulfils one aspect of what I want out of minecaft, which is more realistic yet fun survival mechanism. I wish there was more to minecraft's ecosystem was well. More complex interaction between seasons, plants and animals, degrading mechanics to more blocks etc. I basically want minecraft to feel even more alive and immersive.

I'm glad you understood what I meant though. I was a bit worried people wouldn't. Anyways with time, I'm sure we will have more mods that do exactly what I'm wishing for. Can't really trust Mojang sadly, because their update cycle is too slow.

Easier option would be to use the CF app to install the mods. As it will sort by the custom profiles mc version/modloader
