After checking the mods forge has I learnt fabric has nearly twice as many mods.
Biggest difference is most of forge only mods are well known and proven mods.
That said many of forge only newer mods are nothing compared to newer fabric mods.

Have to keep in mind, Forge is also a lot older then fabric. When fabric became a thing it took time for it to gain traction, but when it did it skyrocketed

Forge:

• Pros:

• Full of tools mod devs can use to hook into
• Covers most mc versions

• Cons:

• Takes a while to update to new mc versions
• Can be buggy sometimes

Fabric:

• Pros:

• Is built on vanilla
• Updates faster for newer mc versions

• Cons:

• More of an empty toolbox
• Mod hooks are a bit more interesting for devs
• Not as many mc versions

Now also something to keep in mind, this is just base forge and base fabric. NeoForge and Quilt are also a thing.

Both are pretty much the base loaders but done a bit differently

NeoForge doesn’t have compatibility to Forge mods in 1.20.2 though, Quilt has compatibility to Fabric mods

Found another difference

Depending on launchers used fabric will auto download dependencies while forge does not.

Later Forge versions have jar in jar, so dependencies can be loaded

The third party launcher will auto download regardless, only difference is it will redirect to the site itself to do the download.
Otherwise it all stays within the launcher.

Optifine is not for modded. That don't work with most of forge version and are closed-source + is the most incompatible mods in the modded community, the author doesn't want to make it viable with other mods

i want to add mods to my micraft singleplayer, but when i try to play mods it takes me to a page where i need to sign up, but the problem is that my account is sign blocked because my little brother typed the password wrong, and its not letting me change the pass or reset, so i was wondering if there is any way i can launch the mods withouht closing the tab which my account is signed into, because i have my xbox account which i use to play java, but outside from that i have to sign up, is there any way to fix this??

You will need to contact Microsoft support. CF uses a copy of the Official mc launcher. So any sign in issues or blocks are with their systems

2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
4. Click the button next to play.
5. Click Export.

How to **manually** install a server - **On your own PC**

1. Check if the modpack has a server pack, if it does: use that and skip below.
2. Go to the Forge website http://files.minecraftforge.net/ and download the Installer for the forge version the pack is using.
3. Run the installer and choose Install server. Do not install to your desktop. Also do not install inside a OneDrive folder.
4. Run the server using the forge.jar. A file called eula.txt will be generated. Open it and change eula=false to eula=true
5. From the Client; Copy the mods folder, config folder, and any other folders needed for the pack to work into the server folder. If the modpack has a server pack, use this instead!
6. Run the server again.
7. Port forward your machine if needed. (Google it)

You could also use this community made tool for installing packs! Instructions are provided on the site.

Could be a couple of things, but best guess is mobs just arent path finding well. Could try adding some fans or if you have them vector plates

Kinda forcefully move the mobs to the death hole vs wait for them to decide to walk

Also with the size of the farm, spiders wont fall in the slightly less then 2 block wide gap. They will get stuck.

I mean a sure fire way is either a bigger farm, building the farm closer to the bottom of the world or cursed earth

Looks like the standard 2x2 flowing water farm. Typically when I make these all make a 3 wide flowing water path so spiders can fall down and not gum up spawn rates

Generally when I make mob farms in sky blocks. I tend to build em some 20 or so plus blocks away. Also helps incase there is a break out

Well you have to delete every handed trait of the mod, and risk to break the mod. Or if you understand what you're doing, recode everything cleanly, just deleting what you don't want.

On the right is the Gui for the Steam Locomotive, just give it water and any fuel source and at its full power it can rival a boat on ice in terms of speed on Minecarts, makes them viable again

Two ways to share a modpack you made with others

:small_blue_diamond: Export and Share - For Friends / Small Groups

1. Click the Icon for the modpack.
2. Click the button next to play.
3. Click Export.
4. Select the files that should be included.
5. Send the zip to the people that want it! They can follow the instructions in !mc-installpack to install the pack.

:small_orange_diamond: Upload to Curseforge - For Public Release to Everyone

This option will make your pack public to EVERYONE, it comes with extra requirements and will take some effort to set up.

1. Go to create a new project
2. Fill out the information with a proper description of the pack. This should allow anyone to understand what the pack is.
3. Click the Icon for the modpack in the CurseForge app.
4. Click the button next to play.
5. Click Export.
6. Select the files that should be included.
7. Open your Project that you made on the CurseForge site and Upload the file you just made.
8. Wait for Moderation & Sync so it can show up in the client! (See !sync for limitations and !status to learn about the moderation process and how long it will take to approve/decline)

How to **manually** install a server - **On your own PC**

1. Check if the modpack has a server pack, if it does: use that and skip below.
2. Go to the Forge website http://files.minecraftforge.net/ and download the Installer for the forge version the pack is using.
3. Run the installer and choose Install server. Do not install to your desktop. Also do not install inside a OneDrive folder.
4. Run the server using the forge.jar. A file called eula.txt will be generated. Open it and change eula=false to eula=true
5. From the Client; Copy the mods folder, config folder, and any other folders needed for the pack to work into the server folder. If the modpack has a server pack, use this instead!
6. Run the server again.
7. Port forward your machine if needed. (Google it)

You could also use this community made tool for installing packs! Instructions are provided on the site.
