I had the same issue on better MC. open your instance folder and you should see a folder called citadel. it has the video inside. unfortunately I havent figured out how to get rid of it aside from deleting the folder, run your game and it shows up again but stops it for that one time, until you return to the main menu

need some help from folks. I'm looking for a modpack I know I used before. It was very progression based with the idea being it takes you through technological ages, stone age, iron age, ect. I can no longer find it but I do remember a few things, such as it requiring you to eat a variety of foods and making early use of some of the mod that allows you to make custom tools after physically building a forge to melt metals into.

Huge recommendation : Don't use MCreator. I'm sure lots of people might have told you this already but I use to use MCreator and when I learnt how to actually make mods through programming/coding I now realise how bad MCreator actually is and how limiting it can be.

he guys, so i tried to make my own modpack to play on a server with a few of my friends and when i went to upload on curseforge.com, it didnt work. i have done everything that i thought was nessecary, ive been stumped for around an hour looking for solutions so i came here hoping someone could help resolve my problem
i do get an error message its:
"The status of the project the boys tarded edutition has been changed to Changes Required
Notes:
A project's summary and description will never be seen together - you should add actual information to the description."

Publishing to the site has a few requirements including that it needs a good, fleshed out description that describes what the pack does and why people should play it
That rejection message means you need to write a better descrtiption
Note that if you just want to share the pack with friends, you don't have to upload it to the site. They can just import the .zip you exported (which should be small enough to send over discord!)

There is no guarantee that adding a mod to a pack you made or didnt make wont cause issues. Pack making is a lot of trial and error. Pre-made packs are made in such a way, changing that balance could cause who knows what issues.

My laptop comes with 16gbs 4800mhz ram, and there's a list of approved ram upgrade brands, so I went and got a 16gb stick to go from 16-24(8+16) but despite it being an approved brand and the same timings/compatible speeds, it's now running at 2400mhz
There's no memory speed or over locking options in my Bios tho to fix this

Little mix of both. First time file uploads are human checked, after that files can be auto checked, unless randomly flagged for manual review. (Don't have the exact reason to why they are chosen).

CurseForge should do that for you if you use the app. If you download through the website you need to put the mods in the c:\<user>\app data\roaming\.minecraft folder

CF uses a copy of the Legacy launcher from Mojang.
It doesnt use the newest version from the Microsoft store. But still uses mojangs servers for authentication.
