Minecraft is a different game when it comes to ram. It will take all that it can use and keep it to itself. And wont give it back till the game is closed. Generally we recommend 6-8gb for most packs. No more then 10gb. Or you may run into other issues

that would only be true if you were cramming more modded content than an equivalent 1.12.2 pack. it actually seems to perform better (with both patched with standard patch mods)
especially that newer versions use newer java that is a lot more efficient

I just explained that I have a problem with finding specific mods in a particular application (there were screenshots in an email from me) to which I replied to put it mildly off topic my question. But when I asked the same problem in discord here, I got the answer right away and was advised to use id to search for mods + explained the search algorithm now. For which I am very grateful to the local moderators and support. 💕

If they already had those files, they still would. new installs wouldn't. You really should consider not shipping options as it overwrites players settings every update. there are mods you can use to ship specific options settings if you want.

We are using a modpack (mc eternal lite) which includes a mod which allows for a person who died to teleport to a grave to recollect their items. Sometimes when a certain person uses it the entire server crashes and gives us a ticking entity/world error. Any fix/prevention
for more context, it only happens to one person and the person in question has 8 gb ram and a 1650 graphics card

Information you will need later:
Local ip: open command prompt and type in ipconfig, then look for the one labelled ipv4. Use that
Local port/port range: 25565 all round
External port/port range: 25565 all round
Protocol: TCP and UDP/both. If an option for both doesnt exist then do it once for each of them
Any other settings: leave as default.

Yeah pretty much. Would make it easier to downgrade problem mods, it seems like updating most stuff is just a bad idea...

the app has the latest update sort option already in the add more content area. Otherwise you can click on a mods name in the app > then click the files tab
