My Sci-Fi vacation began as a regular vacation. We took a 4-night all-inclusive Caribbean cruise and had planned to game, eat and lay on our backs for the whole duration. It was around the 2nd night, 3 am when I saw a blinding white light through the cabin's window. I went out to have a closer look. it was a portal. It led to the year 2258 onto a very crowded space station at the edge of our galaxy. I got to know over 64 sentient species and spent over 5 years wandering and exploring that time. I'm not sure how, but I just woke up back in bed on the last day of the cruise wondering if it was all a dream?...

Misusing blocks to make a decent looking car, thoughts? I'm not a fan of the little overhang on the front windshield but the only real solution is the Chisels & Bits mod which is a lot of bloat for very little change
I used Create for the headlights (placards) and the glass on the front, and I used Macaw's Roofs for the slanted glass on the back windshield as well as the gutters as the bumper, and Macaw's Doors for the metal doors on the sides. The signs are Charred signs from Blockus, and the rest is from nondescript block mods (cyan terracotta body, polished basalt slab base & flint pillars for wheels)

Updated it, it looks much nicer at the front now & I used some iron buttons from 'infinity buttons' to give the wheels some more depth. Luckily the buttons can only be activated with arrows so there's no issues with weird functionality

The lack of vegetation could trigger desertification, turning a forest into a desert, turning dirt into sand.
Places with a lot of water could cause erosion, turning stone into dirt, turning dirt into clay, and other things.
It would be a good match with the Serene Seasons mod. Could it be possible to create more imersive modpacks, where we could see the environment change over time.

take advantage of stairs, trapdoors, fences, buttons, walls, signs/hanging signs, test out block pallets, watch many tips and tutorials on youtube, test small builds in a flat world, and lots of practice

I find most modpack builds are simply just trial and error to see what works out so don't be afraid to experiment with new mods as well
