War Within is the quest where you're investigating Teshin and find he's working with/for the Grineer Queens. ||After Teshin pulls you from your warframe and gives you a crash course in Tenno void powers, you fight the Queens and the older one dies ||

I don't get them and the options are

1. my brain too aerodynamic
2. they're bugged
3. we are actually intended to bring tokens from other puzzles in which case I can't tell if I'm mad or impressed

the majority of the multiplayer puzzles we attempted were one token short no matter how hard we looked

but bringing one from another puzzle worked

I had a basic enigma where I lost a token, and it didn't respawn. It respawned after a while, after i left to do other things, but still

my personal frustration is hunting on Deimos. Like, just flying around, looking for infested critters, and getting blasted (one shotted in Steel Path open world) by the flying squid things. And they follow you, and grab your head. argl

hunting is weird

I ran out of patience at some point and started just sprinting directly at animals and unloading the tranq rifle in their faces

more often than not it results in a perfect capture

if I try to roleplay a hunter it doesn't

I suspect it's in some way timer based and rushing the animal down counts as a narrow stealth capture

I'd say it depends on three parameters: Has the animal detected you ? How many darts have you shot at them ? If detected, how fast did you tranq them ?

Just flying in archwing zipping around the map, and tranqing whatever pass on your radar is also quite fast

Sometimes when you're going with randos, you wind up being in Duviri for a long time.

Which isn't great if you're the sort who doesn't particularly like Duviri and are just trying to kill an Orowyrm for Nightwave.

I finally tried steel path duviri a few weeks ago and it was actually quite difficult because I didn't have much upgraded stuff, but then nabbed a few deceees and it was much easier

Yeah it's a shame it has a lot of stuff there but not much reason to explore

I don't think I've solved the enigmas much either

The other painful thing is a lot of stuff needs that one plant that only grows in caves

Since they can roll as a random reward from decrees, there’s a daily garden in the Teshin cave, and non-SP circuit can have a pile of plants as an early milestone reward

Yeah I found I was super short on the kullervo plant and tasoma all the same

Though for the ueymag I just got the plant doubler decree while I had a resource booster and rode about kullervo's island looking for cactus

Crazy to think teshin's been running around with duviri's equivalent of the skana or the mk1 bo all this time

I went to look at duviri weapons and oooo a thrown spear-

The Edun is not able to be thrown in the Duviri overworld
Throwing attacks do not benefit from the bonuses to Tennokai attacks granted by Tennokai mods, such as the increased damage from Master's Edge, but can otherwise use the inherent benefits of Tennokai.
The initial hit and delayed explosion of thrown polearms only gain the benefits of heavy attack-exclusive effects such as Killing Blow, Dispatch Overdrive, Life Strike, and the doubled crit bonus from True Steel if the warframe is in a heavy attack animation when they hit an enemy.
This means the initial hit will often benefit at close range, but with sufficient distance from the target, and/or increases to attack speed which shorten the end-lag of the throw animation, it may not. The explosion will never gain these benefits from a single throw.

If the Helminth replaces the front's ability for Sirius and Orion does that mean you could replace the 4 on one but keep it on the other (since IINM their 4 is the same between them) thus having something like Roar or Nourish and be able to pull Sibling Rivalry Collateral Damage at the same time?

Also hang on if it only works on the front does that mean we'll need to build three versions and swap fronts once to have a usable pair and get all the Helminth abilities?!

I tried a level 0 grakata (sold mine years ago) with brain storm and wild frenzy, on lavos with valence

it had nothing else and it was killing steel path enemies in simulacrum

It's funny because of the lore of the designs of Excaliber and Nyx.

For those unaware, originally there were going to be masc and fem versions of Warframes, but the team figured out early on this would double the work for minimal return and thus didn't, but they still had Nyx designed so they retooled her into a new Warframe.

And yeah I think how it works is the Sentients ||had multiple 'mothership' hiveminds like Hunhow and Praghasa and the xenoflora gave their fragments individual consciousness||

||So things like the dactolyst were depriving it of xenoflora to make it revert to a mindless drone and then injecting orders||

Though I feel this is a a bit of a shame in some ways since ||the Sentients being these huge, distributed beings is a really interesting idea I'd have liked to see more focus on||

I really like the "morality" system

mine is balanced which to me is a mark of a cool system because the sides evade simple descriptors

sun has the creative will to power, but is brash and short sighted
moon has the patience and insight, but to a fault

sun alone would build nothing lasting and moon alone would get lost in itself and waiting to see what comes to pass
