so FWIW from a dota cosmetics perspective: nothing changes mechanically with cosmetics*, and all mechanical changes come from in-game effects. Dragon Knight doesn't get different damage if I use a spear, Sniper doesn't get different damage if I use the laser rifle. Given how much Deadlock is looking like Dota 2 2, I would be really surprised it's anything beyond that changed.

Once you level up Flawless Advance to three you are just watching the timer as you scale less and less
That plus the nature of Calicos damage is there are a lot of damage sources she is applying from, which means something like spellbreaker or counterspell only works so well against her
Vs Apollos ult can be counterspelled either the initial application or during the time slow period.
