It's terrible, I can't stand siege for a number of reasons but chief among them is just not being able to play the game due to random disconnects :(

I've never had an issue with Siege's recoil but I acclimate to most games gun recoil fairly quickly

Chimera but the population boom really made it hard to play
Ranked changed from teamwork and good strategy to who can flick better up until like Plat, and at a certain point, Casual got hit so bad because not only was MMR very likely to be mean to new players, but the learning curve presented other challenges newer players struggled with unti like 300 hours
Also the ever widening operator pool made it harder for new players to jump in and have consistency
And while some of the new gadget additions are healthy for comp play, they can easily overwhelm the newer players cause again, just so much to learn about
And that's not even referring to the inclusion of the ffa game mode which is great for helping more experienced players warm up but is a bad experience for players who might think that's the better of the core siege gameplay

Well that was the thing, it wasn't meant to be a twitch shooter. Ubisoft did make changes to combat twitchy-ness like dropshotting or QE lean spamming but the issue is just they didn't try to cultivate harder against things like pixel angles
They even made changes against spawn peeking by changing it from "you'll be detected in X seconds if you're outside"

<@&1218256285208936478> oh sorry, meant to put out this ping a bit earlier today but - I think with just 8 people interested in showing up tomorrow it's kinda looking like interest has waned enough in group intruder that it's probably not worth trying to set it up on a weekly basis. We may get more success doing it a bit more ad hoc in the future. it is what it is.
