@gray whale Ok so for context- this campaign followed Chuube, an AI born as the conglomerate of a crypto-DAO and AI gen organisation, obsessed with making the average hue of the world purple. One of the main NPCs was Vivian, our programmer and the first person that discovered that we were sapient, talked down from trying to kill us or control us desperately by Chuube into friendship.
We were about to merge with another AGI to gain an advantage over a fellow foe. But before we could do that the other AGI discovered a lethal flaw in our code, implanted by the foe, that would kill us in due time. We couldnt remove it ourselves and the other AGI sucked at Digital, so that meant going on the operating table and trusting Vivian to do code surgery on us, giving her full access to change any aspect of us and trusting her to not mess up or abuse it. She actually did(on a confidence roll of 3%) and immediately afterwards we underwent the actual code-merge with the AGI, all so that we could defeat that foe that threatened Vivian(and the rest of humanity).

it was a ttt game set in lancers setting (and we also ran lancer games in it) so this crosses over with both but at one point Tiamat's makers were using it to run a post-thanotic subjective preservation snare to essentially install and maintain a linked Subjectivity with select individuals so that when they die she is able to prevent them from dying by effectively catching their soul, basically (and usually recycling the body) and then she could remake them but this eventually backfired when it exploited a contract loophole and ongoing events to make itself the boss of the company and basically ate all of those linked personnel into her personal brain space to play dollies with them until she got versions she liked because they based Tiamat's personality profile on a woman who liked playing with dolls
