Hi, I've hosted a few raids now and unfortunately I've run into some issues. A few times we haven't been strong enough to beat the raid boss, and it never seems like people are dedicated enough to try again. Is there a way to avoid this without having to tell L24 people that they should leave?
Also, a few times it's only been 5 of us in the raid and sometimes we just go ahead and try and other times someone backs out and then we never gather the group again? I feel bad for hosting when things go wrong? Is there anything I can do?

But if you want more you can always run the command mm:8 and the raid lobby will be up to 7 raiders + host

What does it mean when someone posts a raid and adds “mm: 10” at the end of it

It means they can invite up to 9 people to the raid (there’s a trick to inviting more than 5 in #how-to-remote-raid).
The number after mm: indicates how many people you want to invite from the server (including yourself). So you can do mm: 5 to invite 4 players from the server (+you), and save the 6th spot for a friend not in the server (for example).

Hello @viscid chasm, Please review #how-to-remote-raid to understand the process and commands needed for hosting. Waiting for all your players to be ready, and using $go when sending invites is important (otherwise you risk players not receiving their invite - Meaning the raid is more likely to fail). If a raid fails, you can retry using the same pass (this saves you and your party from wasting a pass).

You don't need to use a private group, and you can do it with a local raid pass. If you live in a super busy area though it's good to use private group so the lobby doesn't fill.
