A quick explanation for you, react to the red envelope on a raid as soon as its posted, you will get randomly chosen and put into a channel for the raid lobby, then you add the host on Pokémon Go and then they will invite you to the raid.

A quick explanation for you, react to the red envelope on a raid as soon as its posted, you will get randomly chosen and put into a channel for the raid lobby, then you add the host on Pokémon Go and then they will invite you to the raid.

As long as you add the host, say “ready” and wait in game; that’s the best you can do. You can remind the host to use $go when sending invites. This notifies the whole lobby so maxes chances of success. If the raid fails you can redo it using the same pass. So remind the host of this if a raid does fail.

The appraisal process is for that specific Pokémon. So it’s like additional stats to the base state for the Pokémon species

If you're new to raiding you should check #how-to-remote-raid, the channel will supply videos for how to host and join. :excited:
A quick explanation for you, react to the red envelope on a raid as soon as its posted, you will get randomly chosen and put into a channel for the raid lobby, then you add the host on Pokémon Go and then they will invite you to the raid.

I see videos on how to run a raid. Are there any on how to participate? I gather I join a channel, use magic to find the host's trainer code, send a request, wait for the host to tag me, then go back to the game and respond to the remote invite to join the raid. Is that about right? I'm sure I'll get the hang of it, but I would feel more comfortable if I could review some instructions, first.

To join a raid click the ticket 🎟 under the raid you wish to join. If successful a separate raid chanel will pop up under the selected tier for you to coordinate with the host.
To add the host code type $htc in the hosts lobby to receive the code. Read #how-to-remote-raid

I searched for the command you mentioned and found that I could scroll back to reveal another separate post with exactly what I was looking for.
