How do you hit pokemon that are too far away, just lost a golurk because no throw that I did (spinning and not) ever hit him?

I find that when they are far away like that, I use the entire screen. Really really quickly winding up a curveball using the screen from top to bottom and then release it at the very top of the screen. Once you find out how to hit it, you can decide to lay off on speed or when to release the poke ball for that excellent throw. Hope that helps. Good luck!

Don't start the throw from the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold the middle of the screen, drag the pokeball to the top, and release quickly. The throw distance is determined by where you begin the throw, i.e., dragging from middle to top results in a farther throw than dragging from bottom to top. You don't have to "pick up" the pokeball. It automatically comes to you when you first tap the middle of the screen.

Feedback: you can't have just anyone hosting raids. 75% of hostess have no clue what they are doing and didn't fully complete or even go through the training of the bot. Spent hours trying to do raids, only to waste all 5 passes with low levels trying to do legendary raids.

The foundation of this site - was as a training ground for lower level players
which is why there is no level cap & even though we have grown somewhat we hold fast to that principle to be open to all and to try and build people up not knock them back - We all started at a low level and shouldn't forget it.

I recommend raids as a convenient way of getting revives. I received 15 from a Porygon2 raid today.
You can also power up a pokemon to get it to 1 health, and use a potion as a pseudo revive, but this is usually a last ditch kind of thing as it's not very economical.

They’re a lot more difficult to catch. If it’s legendary raids use razz berries and make each throw count - Excellent curve balls, great curveball if you can’t do excellent.
If it’s wild Pokémon the same as above but use normal razz berries.

Create a party with zero pokemons starting the raid, if they join change to your original team, if they get out you dont waste your raid pass

if you were to be robbed for $10k worth of things, would you consider the person getting a short jail sentence compensation, because you can’t get robbed by them again? no, compensation is considered reimbursement to the affected people in some way.

i already said i understand why there is no compensation added, it was more of a joke of a suggestion than anything. it would be extremely difficult to implement a reasonable way to compensate individuals without either taking an extreme amount of staff’s time, or adding an abusable mechanic to the bot that servers could abuse for profit, such as “chance boosters”
