So if you don't finish the current one, you will not get the next one
If you wanna "stack" your super rocket radars (and have many in case a good legendary drops), the best way is not to finish the first page of the next rocket special research
That way, that research will not be counted as "active", and you will continue to receive rocket researches (making it so you can save the super radar)

The cool down is a DISCORD issue, we KNOW it sucks and we HATE it too
Unfortunately there's NOTHING we can do about it until Discord updates their rates.

The issue with having a que is that we have so many raids being posted that by the time your raid comes up it'll have already ended

its just a lot to type out when the slash commands sometimes wont work with you and you have to try over and over to get in the cooldown window

that may be so but the cooldown system is just not a good way to handle it, the user experience on busy days is just hosts typing the raid command over and over and over until it gets through. I was frustrated and sorry about that but for real it sucks
I don't bother posting irl members, status, weather, any of that, because it just lowers your chances of ever getting a post through

I mean I hear you, when its the ratios are like this its very hit or miss to get a lobby working even if you get it posted, but at least there'd be a chance. Other raiding systems will use a queue for this reason, though I get that would be more complex on the bot side and have some of its own drawbacks.

tbf, this is why I tried here before elsewhere with a queue. Smarter people than me can ponder what's better but I have had this exact thing happen many times.
The fundamental issue is just the ratio of lobbies to raiders, not going to be something that doesn't suck no matter where you go.

The balance tips very very easily. When raids are specific to a region, like the go fest in Japan, the participants number is so high and everyone complains that they can't get into a raid (because raid participants are randomly selected)
When the scale tips the other way, and everyone has raids for Pokemon they and others want, then the hosts can't post raids due to cooldowns by discord
It's why big events like this are always a nightmare

And then do things like lie about people with them or the boss being weather boosted to get people to join and boom, participants lose their remote raid pass from a lying host

This feels 100% right from my experiences here and in similar places, it's a good summary of what happens. I don't mind the random selection woes when joining as much for some reason... I think it's just trying to reissue the command that becomes annoying. Making the raid commands work as prefix commands as well would at least let hosts copy paste and might help?
