The bot selects people at random from everyone that signs up for the raid, with high demand raid bosses this makes it so it might take a few tries to get into the raid. The best thing is to keep trying, good luck.

hey guys, these fake raids need to stop. It is so awful, that raiding here is becoming untenable. I love pogo, but it has gotten terrible. Hosts have ZERO clue how to host, they are either fake raids, or the host doesn't invite everyone, or the host simply shuts down the raid. It has truly gotten ridiculous. This latest FAKE RAID was hosted in Tier 3, a gardevoir and host's name was Icannotgame.
he invited a few, then shut down the raid. Guaranteeed, he let 10 ppl sign up but had no clue how to host a double lobby. Please fix this issue, somehow.

that's too bad I found a guy that was level 40 somethin and he gave me a bunch of kanto mons I needed luckly including tauros and buterfree is the only thing I need and I'm basically done just need to wait for mewtwo and grind some pre evos for candy

Depends, if you mean NYC Go Fest (August 18th) then you won't get mega energy without the ticket; if you mean Global Go Fest (August 27th) then you will get mega energy even if you don't buy the ticket
