Hello! What you would do is create a private lobby (make sure to remember the code for it) and invite your first group of 5 trainers, and then you would back out at 80 seconds. There needs to be at least 1 of the invitees inside the lobby. Then you go back into the same private group and invite the next # of trainers.

That I am not sure of. I was looking on LeekDucks' IG post about the new TR research and some folks commented about encountering Registeel, some even after 10am local time. This is all hearsay though. I don't have concrete evidence at the moment. I still have "Shadowy Skirmishes" research to complete myself. 😅

There is no minimum level requirement in this server to join raids, so you are good to join any that you wish. All hosts should be aware that they will get invitees of all sorts of levels. I admire and understand your concern about not wanting to waste anyone's time though. If you choose to join a raid, you could let the host know your level and go from there.
