make the map smaller to shorten games, as for most of the game you run around trying to find players. lower the players from 100 to maybe 50, so more matches can be played at a shorter queue up time. Make a competitive system so players are incentivized to grind more, with the highest ranks unlocking tournaments which can win certain rare skins or crates or gems. create a practice range similar to valorant/apex legends where you can practice aim with all the weapons in the game. I would also lower the total items in the loot pool and alternate between them every season. Keep certain weapons every season, like the impulses for example.

That was the point of introducing it, to allow for quick indoor damage. It's like the SMG or shotgun being only good for indooor shooting, verus the sniper is awesome for shooting people from far distances. It was intented to be an indoor weapon.

I forgot to mention this, but the AWP weapon behaves differently from other sniper rifles within the game.
After firing a Bolt-Action Sniper or Bolt-Action MK II Sniper, the weapon will enter a cooldown for a few moments. The cooldown's timer will be paused if the weapon is not equipped.
After firing a AWP, the weapon will also enter a cooldown for a few moments. However, the cooldown's timer will not be paused and will continue to elapse while the weapon is not equipped.
This feature of the AWP makes it useful when performing a "combo" with other weapons (ex. Sniper-Rifle + Assault-Rifle + Shotgun combo), as the AWP is able to cooldown while other weapons are in use, and can be fired again once the cooldown timer has elapsed entirely. I honestly hate people who cry about spammers, I understand it's annoying yes I agree. But you have to understand that it'd make no sense to take smgs out or make them even weaker, they legit do 8-9 damage, and there's a method to deal with them like @turbid matrix said. It's a shooting game, it has to be somewhat realistic, it's called learning to use the pump shotgun the right way and actually get good. The shotgun is literally one of the best weapons in the game. And about the goo gun and flamethrower, again they're weapons in a shooting game they aren't annoying you just can't seem to kill them🤦‍♂️. My point is, just keep all the guns in the game and don't take them out because some people keep getting spammed, guns are meant to be shot, now yes I hate getting spammed but I'm mature enough to know that's the point of the game

You could add like special ammo found in air drops/just really rare examples:small ammo special ammo, hollow point rounds when they hit an object they split into several pieces and do 1/2 the amount of dmg that the regular bullet would do, and maybe break into 8ish pieces. AR special ammo Armour piercing rounds, will go through any non player object the same as or weaker than a tree, it can go through up to three things that have the same or smaller amount of health than a tree,and after they go through an object they lose 10%dmg on players but will still go through objects just the same, when striking a player these rounds will do 1.5x the amount of dmg the normal bullet out of that gun would do, these will go through two players and hit a third and unlike objects these lose no dmg when they hit players. Sniper special ammo, incendiary rounds, these will explode on impact with the same radius as the rpg, the explosion does half the dmg of the normal large ammo fired out of that gun and if the round hits an object it will destroy it no matter how strong it is. Shotgun special ammo, shotgun slugs, these will be one singular somewhat slow moving round fired from any shotgun, these rounds will have the same dmg as the normal shotgun would point blank but will retain the damage much better at range, these rounds will have the same range as the ar15 and will fire in a perfectly straight line from the barrel of the shotgun. I do realize that this would require a MASSIVE amount of work to do but also it would take players quite some time to get all the types and try them out with all the guns.
